Strategic Solutions Engineer

ClickUp

• Partner with Sales to deliver exceptional solution presentations that explain and sell our products and integrations, for both prospective and current clients. • Drive and own the technical evaluation, including discovery, custom demonstrations, working sessions, technical Q&A, proof of value, integration scoping, and final value presentation. • Design, develop, deploy, and manage memorable customer-specific proof of value (PoV) projects that help influence decision outcomes. • Assist with the functional and technical elements of RFPs. • Strong background in business process mapping, including the ability to analyze, document, and improve complex business processes across diverse environments. • Designing, implementing, and optimizing AI-driven workflows and agent-based solutions, with a focus on automation and operational efficiency. • Coach and enable other Solutions Engineers across the region, serving as a player-coach and regional team lead by sharing best practices, raising the bar on discovery and demos, and supporting deal strategy. • Enable and train partners on ClickUp’s platform, new features, and best practices—including AI, integrations, and workflow automation.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years pre-sales experience selling to Enterprise clients and a combined 8+ years in a customer facing role with technology.
  • A skilled presenter and masterful storyteller, who is able to convey value during any interaction with a customer.
  • Strong customer-facing skills including the ability to influence technical and executive audiences towards the desired outcome.
  • Creative problem solver with an eagerness to learn new technologies and sufficient technical background to assist with lightweight custom solutions.
  • Experience coaching or leading cross-functional teams, and partnering with channel or alliance organizations.
  • Hands-on experience with AI LLMs, as well as integration platforms (Unito, Workato, Zapier, Integromat), web services, and APIs.
  • Prefer candidates with prior experience in project management, portfolio management, and/or collaborative work management.
