Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer/Tester Location: Remote Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Salesforce Quality Assurance Engineer/Tester to support the development and delivery Next Gen Salesforce CRM solution, a critical modernized recruiting and accessions platform for the customers. You will develop and execute comprehensive test plans, ensure the quality, functionality, and performance of the Salesforce-based system, and contribute to delivering a reliable, compliant, and user-focused CRM experience for military recruiting operations. This position plays a key role in maintaining high standards of software quality in a regulated federal environment, collaborating closely with developers, DevOps engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to validate features, identify defects early, and support successful deployments. Responsibilities: - Develop and execute test plans for the Next Gen Salesforce CRM solution, including functional, regression, integration, performance, security, and user acceptance testing across multiple releases and environments - Design, create, and maintain detailed test cases, test scripts, and test data based on user stories, requirements, and Salesforce configuration/customization - Perform hands-on manual and automated testing of Salesforce objects, flows, Apex code, Lightning components, integrations (e.g., MuleSoft), and custom applications within the recruiting domain - Utilize test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Provar, Copado Robotic Testing, Salesforce Test Automation, or similar) to build scalable automated regression suites and improve test coverage and efficiency - Log, track, and verify defects using established defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Salesforce Case Management, Azure DevOps, or equivalent); collaborate with development teams to reproduce issues, prioritize fixes, and validate resolutions - Ensure the quality, functionality, and performance of the Salesforce solution meet contractual, operational, and end-user expectations, with particular focus on data integrity, user experience for recruiters/field personnel, compliance with DoD standards, and system reliability in a FedRAMP Moderate environment - Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives in an Agile/Scrum framework - Conduct smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing during iterative development cycles and prior to production promotions - Support environment management, data masking/anonymization for testing, and coordination with DevOps for deployment validation - Contribute to test strategy documentation, traceability matrices, defect reports, and quality metrics to support audits, continuous monitoring, and compliance requirements. - Stay current with Salesforce platform updates (e.g., new releases, security patches), testing best practices, and evolving federal compliance guidelines Requirements: - 3+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce testing methodologies, including testing custom objects, workflows, validation rules, Apex triggers/classes, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and integrations - Proven experience with test automation tools relevant to Salesforce (e.g., Provar, Selenium with Salesforce extensions, Copado, or native Salesforce testing features). - Strong familiarity with defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Salesforce native tools) and Agile workflows - Experience testing in Salesforce Government Cloud or FedRAMP Moderate environments, with understanding of compliance controls (NIST 800-53), secure testing practices, and handling of sensitive data - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience) - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. - Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and document findings clearly Preferred Qualifications: - Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I, or Salesforce Certified Tester (or equivalent quality-focused credentials) - Experience in military/DoD recruiting systems, CRM for accessions/personnel management, or similar high-stakes federal applications (e.g., familiarity with TF legacy processes is a plus) - Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing (e.g., OWASP principles, penetration testing basics) - Experience with MuleSoft integrations, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Flosum, Copado), and automated testing in regulated environments - Familiarity with DoD-specific compliance frameworks (e.g., RMF, FISMA) and tools for test data management
