• Identify automation opportunities • Partner with Operations, Support, and Technology to understand where manual effort and repetition create friction. • Help prioritize opportunities based on impact, risk, and feasibility. • Design and build automations • Build production-grade workflows using APIs, webhooks, and event-based systems. • Apply AI or LLMs for tasks such as classification, routing, summarization, or decision support. • Own reliability and iteration • Ensure automations are observable, testable, and maintainable. • Monitor behavior in production and improve solutions over time.

- Experience designing and operating reliable automations in production, including workflow orchestration
- Comfortable working across imperfect systems and APIs, with a strong sense for operational risk and trade-offs
- Practical experience applying AI or LLMs in real workflows where they add clear, measurable value

CTG is seeking to fill an Automation Test Engineer – Tosca position for our client. Location: RemoteDuration: 9 months Overview: We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong experience in Tricentis Tosca and mainframe application testing. This role will focus on designing and executing automated tests for enterprise systems running on IBM z/OS, including applications utilizing CICS transactions, DB2 databases, and batch processing. The position supports end-to-end automation across terminal-based applications, APIs, and integrated enterprise systems. Duties: - Design and develop automated test cases using Tosca Commander and model-based testing methodologies. - Build reusable Tosca modules for enterprise and mainframe terminal applications. - Automate functional, integration, and regression testing scenarios. - Perform automation testing for 3270 terminal applications and CICS-based workflows. - Validate backend data in DB2 databases using SQL queries. - Support testing of JCL-based batch jobs and enterprise data processes. - Execute automated test suites using Tosca Distributed Execution (DEX) and analyze results. - Track, document, and support resolution of defects. - Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps. - Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business analysts in Agile development environments. • Work closely together with our marketing team, further building our own GTM System (campaigns, SDR-Agents, etc.) to drive lead generation and sales efficiency • Conduct Research & Development to unlock new use cases, channels, and methods that the market has not seen yet and make them available first for our own system and then for our clients • Prepare playbooks, agents, and other materials for the delivery team, so we can easily embed it for our clients • Build N8N workflows or work with Claude Code to ensure our own delivery efficiency is optimised
• Design, build, and maintain automations that improve operational efficiency across various teams • Develop and maintain workflows in n8n, integrating with tools like Zendesk CRMs, internal services, and 3rd-party APIs • Build custom logic and integrations using JavaScript and PHP (Laravel) • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Support, Product, Engineering) to gather requirements and implement process automations • Monitor, debug, and optimize automation flows for performance, reliability, and scalability • Maintain clean documentation of workflows, APIs, and automation logic • Contribute to the technical architecture of our automation ecosystem • Participate in code reviews and uphold coding best practices
