Sr. QA Automation Lead
Computer Task Group, Inc
CTG is seeking to fill a Sr. QA Automation Analyst (Automation Lead Focus) position for our client. Location: RemoteDuration: 6 months Duties: - Define, implement, and enforce enterprise-wide QA automation standards, frameworks, and best practices to ensure scalable, reusable, and maintainable test solutions. - Plan and manage hardware and software configurations required to support automation testing across multiple projects. - Develop and maintain automation frameworks supporting regression, load, and stress testing. - Establish and enforce coding standards, data management strategies, and code maintenance practices for automation suites. - Analyze test strategies, execution results, and quality metrics; communicate findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams, including senior leadership and stakeholders. - Manage and publish test execution schedules; provide technical leadership and guidance to QA engineers to ensure timely delivery. - Design, develop, and execute automated functional and performance test scripts for new and existing applications. - Investigate, troubleshoot, and document defects and issues identified during automation testing. - Lead defect triage activities, ensuring accurate prioritization, tracking, and resolution of issues. - Mentor and coach QA team members, fostering skill development in automation, performance testing, and QA best practices. - Collaborate with development, DevOps, and business teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and improve overall software quality. Skills: - Strong expertise in QA automation frameworks, tools, and best practices. - Advanced proficiency in test automation design and development. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities. - Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Deep understanding of test data management and environment configuration. - Experience with CI/CD integration and automation strategy implementation. Experience: - Minimum 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining QA processes and automated test suites. - Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Eggplant automation testing tools. - Strong scripting experience using SenseTalk. - Experience working in Agile, Scrum, and DevOps environments. - Experience in healthcare systems, preferably Epic EHR or similarly complex platforms. - Proven experience leading or mentoring QA automation teams. Education: - University degree or college diploma in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Preferred Skills: - Experience incorporating AI-driven capabilities into QA automation frameworks. - Exposure to additional automation tools beyond Eggplant. - Experience migrating or modernizing automation frameworks across platforms.
