In addition to our recent growth in Federal Civilian agencies, we are seeking to expand our capabilities in cloud development and footprint in national-security focused agencies within the Department of Defense and U.S. Intelligence Community. We are seeking an e-learning Graphics and Multimedia Designer to join our team. In this role, you will support the design and development of high-quality learning assets and experiences. Your expertise in the creation of graphics for multimedia and animated videos will be crucial in developing high-quality training content. Responsibilities Asset Development: Design and develop graphics and multimedia for e-learning projects and training aids. Project Coordination: Communicate progress and coordinate deliverables with internal and client team members. Visual Interpretation: Translate descriptive text documents into infographics. Compliance & Design Standards: Ensure materials meet 508 accessibility compliance and apply UX/UI design principles. Collaborative Storyboarding: Actively partner with Instructional Designers during the initial drafting phase to suggest visual metaphors and layouts that improve cognitive load and learner retention. Peer Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct final visual "polishing" and QA checks on completed modules to identify graphical inconsistencies, alignment issues, or 508 compliance gaps before delivery. Brand Stewardship: Ensure all training assets strictly adhere to corporate or agency-specific brand guidelines, including consistent use of typography, color palettes, and iconography across multiple simultaneous projects. Digital Asset Management: Maintain and organize a centralized library of source files (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and stock media to ensure version control and ease of access for the wider team. Qualifications Logistics: - East coast core hours of 9am to 3pm - Reliable high-speed internet connection Experience: - Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university - At least 5 years of experience working as a Graphics and Multimedia Designer on courseware development projects - Expert proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite a must—specifically: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects - Generative AI for Imagery: Experience with tools such as Midjourney, DALL-E 3, or Stable Diffusion for creating custom assets, and Copilot Design and Quality: - Strong understanding of 508 compliance - Extensive background in UX/UI design, graphic design, illustration, and animation - Experience creating infographics from descriptive text documents Work Environment: - Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team - Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously - Demonstrate strong information technology skills specifically working in the Microsoft Teams and SharePoint environments Preferred (but not required): - 3D animation and modeling skills - Experience with Lectora, Camtasia, and Vyond - Experience working with Federal Agencies Clearance Requirement - Public Trust If you are looking for a fun and challenging environment with talented, motivated people to work with, CTEC is the right place for you.
