About the role We are looking for a skilled and creative Graphic Designer to join our marketing team. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling and effective marketing materials that promote the brands, products, and services of Core's partner institutions. You will work collaboratively with the creative marketing team to ensure visual content aligns with the campaign goals and resonates with the target audience. This is a contract position with a 10-20 hours per week with flexible hours – project-based assignments – no current scheduled commitments. What you'll do - Design visually appealing and on-brand marketing content for various channels, including social media, web, digital ads, and promotional assets. - Work in collaboration with content writers to develop creative concepts and visual content that support marketing campaigns and initiatives. - Maintain and ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials. - Use graphic design software and other relevant tools to create, edit, and optimize images and other visual assets. - Translate marketing objectives and briefs into engaging and effective designs that communicate the intended message. - Stay updated on industry design trends and technologies to recommend innovative design solutions. - Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining the quality and consistency of design work. Qualifications - 3-5 years of experience in Graphic Design within a marketing team. - Strong portfolio showcasing your design work in multi-channel marketing campaigns. - Thrive in a fast-paced environment. - Aptitude for crafting on brand/target creative output from ambiguous or conceptual requests. - Able to receive constructive criticism and work within client requests - Proven experience in marketing design with Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and Figma. - Experienced with Microsoft Office. - Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout. - Excellent creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to think visually. - Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Familiarity with marketing and branding concepts. - Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously. - Agency experience a plus Education and Experience Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual design, or equivalent experience - Three to five years of experience in graphic design Why Core?
