Role Description This role is to cover maternity leave. As an Application/Systems Engineer within our Adriatic Diagnostics Team, you will provide scientific and technical support to customers using Roche diagnostic instruments and software. You will work closely with laboratories, sales teams, and service engineers to ensure that Roche systems operate correctly and efficiently. You will be a key player in providing support to customers, solving technical issues, and delivering training on Roche diagnostic solutions that contributes to the overall business impact within the Adriatic region. The product portfolio area is: - Scrum Work Area (SWA) Roche Analyzers covering preanalytical, analytical and post-analytical instruments - Roche Molecular Solutions The position is based in Slovenia and entails travel to local clients, along with occasional regional support in Croatia to assist with team requirements. Working from Home is provided. Qualifications - University degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Science, etc.) - Experience in clinical laboratory diagnostics or medical technology highly preferred - Knowledge of laboratory analyzers and diagnostic workflows - Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Fluency in Slovenian and English (Croatian is advantage) Requirements - Provide application support for Roche diagnostic instruments and software - Troubleshoot technical and scientific problems related to laboratory systems - Install and configure instruments and reagents at customer sites - Train laboratory staff on the use of Roche diagnostic systems - Support the sales team with technical expertise during product demonstrations - Document cases and solutions in CRM systems - Maintain strong relationships with hospitals and laboratory customers Company Description A healthier future drives us to innovate. For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $105,000 - $129,600 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level.
