Analyses client software purchases to identify suitable bundles for effective commercial license proposal. - Reviews the financial returns delivered by engagements to ensure the learning is captured as engagements deliver. - The Director of Procurement is responsible for building, leading, and continuously improving Aledade's enterprise-wide procurement function. Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer, this leader will design and operationalize procurement strategy, drive significant cost reduction through strategic sourcing, and serve as a key cross-functional partner to Finance, Legal, Technology, and business unit leaders. This role owns the full procure-to-pay lifecycle and is expected to bring structure, discipline, and scale to a high-growth healthcare environment. We are flexible with respect to geographic location, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable working remotely/work from home within the US or be based from Bethesda, MD office. Primary Duties: Strategic Sourcing & Cost Management: - Design, implement, and lead a best-in-class procurement function applying supply chain management best practices appropriate for a high-growth healthcare organization. - Establish and execute a strategic sourcing program with clear category ownership across IT, professional services, clinical vendors, facilities, and other material spend areas. - Implement RFP/RFQ processes to drive competitive tension and negotiate favorable commercial terms with suppliers. - Leverage spend data and financial analytics to identify cost reduction opportunities, model financial impacts, and gain business leadership alignment on savings initiatives. - Establish measurable performance metrics and regularly report third-party spend, savings, and supplier performance to Finance and senior leadership. Compliance, Risk & Governance: - Establish and maintain procurement policies, procedures, standards, and internal controls; educate stakeholders on compliant purchasing practices and audit for continuous improvement. - Monitor and ensure adherence to applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing procurement and vendor management. - Manage healthcare-specific vendor compliance requirements, including Business Associate Agreements (BAAs), HIPAA obligations, and other regulatory considerations relevant to Aledade's operating environment. - Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks including supplier financial instability, single-source dependencies, and business continuity gaps. - Conduct periodic compliance audits and implement continuous improvement programs to close identified gaps. Cross-Functional Partnership & Change Management: - Serve as a trusted cross-functional partner to Finance, Legal, Technology, HR, and business unit leaders by embedding procurement discipline without creating bureaucratic friction. - Lead organizational change management efforts associated with standing up and scaling the procurement function, including stakeholder education, process adoption, and communication strategies. - Develop and deliver training programs to educate colleagues on procurement policies, approval workflows, and compliant purchasing behaviors. - Build strong internal relationships to proactively identify procurement needs, influence upstream decision-making, and reduce maverick spend. - Represent Procurement in cross-functional initiatives, vendor governance forums, and finance planning cycles. Job Description Summary The Director of IT Business Partnership is a senior-level strategic partner responsible for aligning IT services with business objectives across all divisions. This role focuses on relationship management, demand shaping, and meeting business challenges with IT investments that deliver measurable value and impact our mission. Job Description Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Leadership - Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior business leaders, including C-Suite executives, to ensure IT services align with business objectives. - Serve as a strategic advisor, guiding the development of IT roadmaps and investment strategies. 2. Business Process Management - Analyze and map business processes to identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement. - Collaborate with stakeholders to document, refine, and optimize business processes in alignment with IT capabilities. - Utilize process modeling tools and techniques to facilitate communication between IT and business units. 3. Operational Excellence - Oversee the IT demand management process, ensuring efficient decision making about project intake and prioritization. - Facilitate the creation of comprehensive business cases for technology initiatives, emphasizing their value to the organization. 4. Team Leadership - Lead and develop a high-performing team of IT Business Partners and Analysts. - Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the IT organization. 5. Stakeholder Engagement - Act as the primary liaison between IT and business units, ensuring effective communication and alignment. - Advocate for business needs within IT and drive the adoption of innovative solutions that create value. 6. Innovation and Value Creation - Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies and industry trends to transform business operations. - Champion initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, improve customer satisfaction, and positively impact our mission. Skills and Competencies: - Expertise in business process management, including process mapping, modeling, and optimization. - Proven ability to influence senior leadership and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups. - Expertise in shaping demand for an internal IT group. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex technical and business concepts to diverse audiences. - Expertise in change management, strategic planning, and IT governance. - Demonstrated ability to develop and execute IT strategies that support organizational goals. Qualifications and Experience: Experience: - 10+ years in leadership roles within IT, business relationship management or Project management. - 5+ years of management of teams preferred. - Proven track record of optimizing business processes to drive operational efficiency and alignment with IT capabilities. - Experience collaborating with senior executives, including Presidents and C-Suite leaders. - Extensive background in IT demand management, business analysis, strategic planning, and program management. Education: - Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or related fields; advanced degrees preferred. - Relevant certifications (e.g., BRM, MBRM, Six Sigma, BPM) are highly desirable. Key Success Metrics: - High satisfaction ratings from business stakeholders and IT partners. - Measurable improvements in business processes, including efficiency gains and cost savings. - Increased throughput and effectiveness of IT demand management processes. - Successful delivery of IT projects aligned with strategic business goals. - Positive team performance metrics, including employee engagement and professional development outcomes. ​ Total Rewards at Enterprise: You will be working with a group of talented professionals who are motivated by serving the community and addressing the need for affordable housing. Enterprise offers a comprehensive total rewards package for you and your family. The base salary for this role is $145,000 to $165,000, depending on level of skills and experience. The salary range for this position is represented by the low and high end of the range for the amount to be paid for the position. Salaries paid at Enterprise will vary based on factors that may include skills, education, location, experience, and performance. The salary range is just a part of the total rewards package provided to employees at Enterprise, and other rewards may include annual performance bonuses and generous paid leave programs.
