Raspberry Pi Foundation

Job title: Code Club Program Coordinator Location: Metro-Atlanta, Georgia, hybrid, willing to travel regularly within the country Salary: $58,091 - $65,000 p.a. Full-time equivalent, dependent on experience Basis: Permanent: Full-time, part-time or flexible Eligibility: You must be eligible to work in the USA The role We are looking to appoint a program coordinator to join the Raspberry Pi Foundation's US team to help grow the reach and impact of Code Club.  Code Club is a global movement of free coding clubs where young people aged 9-16 years old develop the confidence to create with digital technologies. Code Clubs are run by teachers, educators, and volunteers from all walks of life and take place in schools and community settings, like libraries, museums, and maker spaces.  Reporting to the National Program Manager, you will play a key role in expanding and sustaining this network across the United States. You will work directly with school districts, community organizations, and other partners to help them set up and run Code Clubs. You’ll coordinate logistics for training and events, support onboarding and communications, and manage systems and data that help us deliver impact at scale – through both online and in-person activities.  We are looking for someone who has experience of working with schools and youth-focused community organisations and who brings strong coordination and organizational skills. You don’t need to be an expert in computer science or coding, but you do need to bring passion for our mission and a willingness to learn. This role is based in Atlanta, Georgia which is one of the locations in the US where we have established a team. Your work will be national and you will need to be able to travel to events across the US.  We strive to make the Foundation a place where talented people who care about our mission can do the best work of their careers. We have a flexible and collaborative approach to all aspects of our work. If you’re the right person for the job, we’ll make it work for you, and you can be confident that you’ll be working with an exceptional team. Responsibilities - Support the implementation of strategies to grow and sustain Code Clubs in priority state(s). - Build and manage relationships with schools, districts, community organizations, and other partners in priority state(s) to support club creation and delivery. - Support the onboarding process for new Code Clubs, ensuring they have the tools and resources they need to get started. - Provide administrative support for the U.S. Code Club team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing materials. - In collaboration with the Marketing & Events team, coordinate logistics for training sessions, webinars, and events—including registration, follow-up, and communications. - Respond to inquiries from educators and volunteers, providing helpful information and escalating more complex questions as needed. - Maintain accurate records of Code Clubs, partners, and volunteers in databases (e.g., Monday.com, Salesforce). - Help produce reports and dashboards using data collected from clubs and events. - Assist with communications, including newsletters, emails, and community updates. - Support safeguarding processes by tracking training completion. Experience and personal attributes We recognize that everyone has the potential for growth, and we welcome applications from candidates who can demonstrate that they have some, but not all, of the experience and personal attributes listed here. - 2+ years experience working with schools, teachers, or youth-focused community organizations to advance learning opportunities for young people, ideally in computer science, coding, or STEM-related fields.  - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to inspire and engage diverse audiences. - A good understanding of the US education system.  - A strong alignment with the Foundation’s mission and values, particularly around educational equity and access. - Flexibility, adaptability, and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and external partners.   - Experience of the collection, management, and analysis of feedback and data. Ideally you will have experience of working with Salesforce, but if not we can support you with training.  - The ability to travel within the USA. About us The Raspberry Pi Foundation is an independent nonprofit with a global mission to enable young people to realize their full potential through the power of computer science and digital technologies. In the US we operate through Raspberry Pi Foundation North America which is a registered 501(c)(3) organization. We empower schools to teach computer science and AI literacy through free curricula, classroom resources, purpose built software tools, and professional development for teachers. We have teams in six countries (India, Ireland, Kenya, South Africa, the UK and US) and partnerships with mission-aligned non-profit organisations in over 60 countries.  We are at the forefront of the global educational movement to expand access to computer science education and AI literacy.
