• Contribute to the expansion of our computing education work in schools and other educational settings for young people (5 - 25 years) in the state of Odisha • Deliver and evaluate teacher training and ongoing capacity building sessions throughout Odisha, including face-to-face training, online webinars, and school visits to observe lessons and have coaching conversations • Nurture and support an educator community through being the point of contact for enquiries and regular initiatives like virtual and in person meet-ups and sharing learning opportunities. • Plan and manage the logistical aspects of educator training and local programmes in collaboration with colleagues, including scouting for and interfacing with venues, securing equipment and supplies, and conducting pre-event checks • Support in the planning and execution of our partner onboarding strategy for state-level projects and partnerships including the computing teacher needs assessment, nomination and selection process. • Ensure all partners’ local trainers understand and adhere to the partnership agreement terms, including training standards and safeguarding requirements • Collaborate with fellow partners on programme-related additional activities throughout the year • Support the colleagues working on impact and curriculum development to develop and deliver monitoring, evaluation, and development tools for teachers and learners to progress tracking • Collaborate with colleagues to support the development, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of computing education courses and programmes needed for Odisha, and ensure that best practices are shared across the Foundation • Build relationships with key government stakeholders to support the adoption of our work in the state • Represent the Raspberry Pi Foundation to external audiences, including writing blog posts and magazine articles, attending outreach events, and leading workshops as and when required

• Plan, deliver, and track activities that grow the number of sustained, impactful Code Clubs in Ireland. • Identify, build and maintain effective relationships with new and existing stakeholders and partners to raise awareness of Code Club and support its growth in Ireland. • Organise and deliver national and regional events, training and activities to engage and support the Irish Code Club community, both online and in person. • Work closely with colleagues across the Foundation to share expertise and coordinate activities. • Use data to inform decision making, and demonstrate improvements over time. • Develop plans and overviews of work using a structured approach aligned with the Foundation’s objectives and key results, and report on progress. • Contribute to content for newsletters, blogs, and social media, and support online course moderation. • Consult new and existing club leaders to inform programme development, and work with colleagues to ensure Code Club processes are efficient and effective. • Create and deliver activities to encourage Irish clubs to get involved in other Raspberry Pi initiatives including Coolest Projects. • Represent Code Club and the Raspberry Pi Foundation at relevant events.

We are looking for a motivated and proactive software engineer to join the Ada Computer Science development team and work on the development and maintenance of a key component of the UK’s computer science curriculum delivery.  You will be working within a University of Cambridge development team and will represent the Raspberry Pi Foundation’s interest. You will be a key person in creating a shared understanding between the two organisations. This role is a chance for significantly more independence and autonomy than typical for this level of experience. The work you will do is open source and can be found on Github at https://github.com/isaacphysics. You will be working to improve and develop resources and experiences for teachers and students and will have a unique chance to impact computer science education throughout the UK for both young people and educators.
