Training Program Manager

• Responsible for administrating and coordinating Sales/Marketing training programs and process for employees in the Sales and Marketing area. • Accountable for customized training needs assessments, course development, delivery, evaluation, process measurements and cost management. • Provides consulting services to managers, supervisors, and employees to meet their organizational needs. • Provides training and coaching to field supervisors and various employee groups on the use of professional sales skills. • Consults the Customer Service Center and other areas of the company to implement training solutions. • Directs and coaches external consultants and instructors on training standards and adult learning principles. • Develop and manage best practices for training. • Oversee curriculum development across all product lines. • Provide ongoing training support for sector leaders, TSRs, and Sales teams in effective presentation techniques. • Determine and implement best practices for training the trainers of dealer organizations. • Collaborate with marketing on further development of training brand. • Establish process to collect, analyze and report training data and trends to assess effectiveness of training programs and identify opportunities for improvement. • Collaborate with marketing to modernize and standardize our existing library of training materials. • Collaborate with marketing in developing campaigns applicable to internal and external audiences through relevant media sources to promote training opportunities. • Collaborate with all stakeholders (executives, sector leaders and sales leadership) to ensure training goals and metrics are achieved across the organization. • Actively seek out new training opportunities for (tradeshows, industry events, customer opportunities). • Enhance and maintain current training initiatives (Training Tuesdays) and build the training program across additional platforms: Podcast, YouTube Channel – mini training videos, online training, LMS for internal training.
Job Requirements
- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.
- Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field.
- May require certification.
- Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience using HTML, Photoshop, Illustrator and/or InDesign is preferred.
- Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively explain complex products and services.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently, self-manage and troubleshoot issues.
- Demonstrated ability to design effective sales training programs, and communication skills programs.
