ServiceNow Platform Advisor

• Serve as the Strategic Platform Advisor, providing expert guidance on ServiceNow governance and service management strategies to support NIH/CIT and NIH ICOs. • Act as a trusted advisor to NIH leadership, offering insights and recommendations for optimizing the ServiceNow ecosystem and aligning it with organizational goals. • Lead efforts in multi-instance environments, including strategic consolidation of instances to enhance efficiency and reduce complexity. • Develop and implement governance frameworks for ServiceNow, ensuring compliance with NIH policies and industry best practices. • Collaborate with stakeholders across NIH/CIT and ICOs to identify requirements, define priorities, and deliver solutions that drive mission success. • Provide expertise in ITIL 4 Managing Professional and Strategic Leader practices to enhance service delivery and operational excellence. • Monitor and report on platform performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and driving continuous innovation. • Support strategic planning initiatives, aligning ServiceNow capabilities with NIH’s long-term objectives and priorities. • Develop and maintain documentation related to governance frameworks, instance consolidation strategies, and platform roadmaps. • Stay current with ServiceNow platform updates, new features, and industry trends to ensure NIH remains at the forefront of technology innovation.
Job Requirements
- ITIL 4 Managing Professional and Strategic Leader certifications.
- 10+ years of extensive experience in service management and ServiceNow governance.
- Proven expertise in the ServiceNow ecosystem, with a strong track record of success at CIT and NIH ICOs.
- Experience managing multi-instance environments, including strategic consolidation of instances.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Deep understanding of NIH/CIT and ICO processes, policies, and mission.
- Ability to develop and maintain detailed documentation, including governance frameworks, consolidation strategies, and roadmaps.
- Existing Public Trust Clearance or Ability to Obtain an NIH Badge.

• Develop and customize ServiceNow applications, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSDM, and custom apps. • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code (JavaScript, AngularJS, jQuery, JSON). • Build and maintain integrations with critical business systems. • Troubleshoot, debug, and improve platform performance. • Collaborate closely with architects, BAs, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. • Mentor junior developers and share best practices.
