Salesforce Engineer
Vanta
• Build Salesforce solutions using both code (Apex, Lightning Web Components) and no-code tools (Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules, Formula Fields) • Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and GTM tools using Workato, APIs, and integration best practices • Contribute to data modeling and architecture decisions to ensure data integrity and system performance • Partner with Business Systems teammates and Revenue Operations stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following Salesforce best practices • Troubleshoot technical issues across the GTM systems landscape • Participate in code reviews, deployment processes, and technical documentation • Optimize system performance and contribute to reducing technical debt • Support release planning and contribute to technical roadmap discussions
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience with Apex programming skills
- Experience with Salesforce data modeling, system design, and building scalable solutions
- Experience building integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems
- Familiarity with integration platforms such as Workato, Zapier, MuleSoft, or similar tools
- JavaScript experience for building custom user interfaces
- Understanding of Salesforce best practices including governor limits, bulkification, and design patterns
- Experience with version control (Git) and deployment tools (Salesforce DX, Gearset, or similar)
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and debug across integrated systems
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working with Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or similar business teams
- Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II) are a plus but not required
- Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work - demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact.
