Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell, & Berkowitz, PC is seeking a Security Engineer focused on Cloud and Application Security to join our Security team. This role partners closely with IT and Development teams to define, implement, and monitor application and cloud security standards. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, application development pipelines, and security best practices. This position is fully remote (within our US office footprint) and reports directly to the Security team. Essential Responsibilities - Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and Business Development teams to establish and maintain application security standards, secure development lifecycles, and baseline security requirements. - Monitor cloud environments for security posture and recommend improvements. - Conduct security assessments and reviews of cloud architecture and application configurations to identify risks and recommend solutions. - Define and document security requirements for application deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code templates. - Advise on secure design principles and help teams interpret security requirements within software delivery workflows. - Stay current with cloud security trends, vulnerabilities, and best practices and translate them into actionable guidance. - Support incident response investigations and remediation planning related to cloud and application security. - Participate in and contribute to strategic planning initiatives - Contribute to security operations functions Qualifications Required - 5+ years of experience in cloud security, application security, or cybersecurity engineering. - Deep knowledge of cloud platforms and cloud security technologies. - Working knowledge of common programming languages (e.g., C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL) sufficient to review security‑relevant application logic and identify typical implementation weaknesses. - Hands‑on experience with DevSecOps tooling including SAST, SCA, or DAST solutions to enable lightweight security validation within CI/CD pipelines. - Familiarity with Azure application security capabilities, such as enforcing HTTPS‑only configurations, leveraging private endpoints, and applying identity‑based access patterns to support secure deployment practices - Experience collaborating with developers and infrastructure engineers. - Familiarity with threat modeling, risk assessment methodologies, and security controls. - Excellent communication skills and ability to explain security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. Preferred - Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, CSSLP, CKS). - Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001). - Familiarity with cloud monitoring and security tooling (CSPM, SIEM, IAM tools, etc.). • Develop, maintain, and coordinate Revit models for physical security and ESS projects, including access control, CCTV/video surveillance, intrusion detection, and perimeter protection systems • Produce complete construction document packages — plans, elevations, sections, schedules, details, and specifications — in Revit and AutoCAD per project requirements • Create and manage Revit families for security-specific equipment (cameras, card readers, gates, bollards, control panels, etc.) • Perform BIM coordination and clash detection using Autodesk Navisworks in multi-discipline environments • Maintain drawing standards, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and model quality across project phases from SD through CD and CA • Coordinate with MEP, structural, and architectural disciplines to ensure security system design integration within the overall facility BIM environment • Manage sheet sets, title blocks, revision tracking, and plotted deliverable packages • Support as-built documentation, record drawing updates, and facility information model (FIM) deliverables • Apply AECOM, federal agency, and owner BIM standards to all deliverables • Assist consultants and project managers with security system design narratives, basis-of-design documents, and equipment specifications • Participate in design review meetings and respond to RFIs and submittal reviews during construction administration • Support the development of risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, or security master plan documents as directed • Apply applicable standards (ICD 705, NISPOM, UFC, FEMA 430, ASIS, IEC 62443) to documentation under the guidance of senior staff

• Selling Optiv security services and technology solutions to strategic accounts in Michigan. • Owning and coordinating all aspects of the sales cycle within assigned accounts. • Leading a cross-functional team to build and execute a multi-year strategic account management plan. • Engaging clients with a focus on enhancing client satisfaction. • Reviewing client goals, expectations, and progress quarterly.

• Influence and create positioning and messaging for major Charlotte AI capabilities, translating product value into clear differentiation, customer outcomes, and proof points across priority personas (SOC leaders, analysts, SecOps, IT/security leaders). • Partner deeply with Product Management to shape long-term roadmap, feature storytelling, packaging, and launch prioritization, ensuring that product capabilities map to real customer problems and broader portfolio initiatives. • Lead launches and key initiatives end-to-end including launch strategy, narrative, content strategy, web/campaign direction, sales enablement, and event coordination, driving strategic alignment across stakeholder groups and executing at a high level. • Develop GTM frameworks and core assets including messaging and positioning, pitch decks, sales conversation guides, web copy, blogs, FAQs, demos, customer references and customer-ready talk tracks, ensuring consistency across content and touchpoints. • Drive field readiness and adoption in partnership with sales and technical marketing, by building sales plays, competitive guidance and objection handling. • Develop market and competitive insight by monitoring the AI-in-security landscape, connecting with customers, working with competitive intelligence (CI); identifying key competitors and alternatives, and ensuring GTM materials reinforce CrowdStrike’s differentiators and target personas. • Support Analyst Relations and customer storytelling through briefings, narrative development, and championing aligned messages across analyst engagements and customer case studies. • Build strong cross-functional relationships: As the internal representative of Charlotte AI, you’ll independently drive projects and represent Charlotte AI across varied internal groups (sales, PR, AR, customer advocacy, event planning, partner marketing, engineering, finance, etc.)
