Role Description Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell, & Berkowitz, PC has an immediate opening for an Information Technology (IT) Project Manager located anywhere within the Firm’s geographical footprint. The IT Project Manager must coordinate and manage department and enterprise level technology projects, provide project analysis and status information to management, assist interested Firm teams with implementing recommended project management practices, and participate in improving project management office (PMO) practices, policies, and procedures. The IT Project Manager works to ensure the continuation and evolution of the PMO’s strategic and administrative goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Technology Project Management - Become and remain proficient with project management methods and supporting technology. - Collaborate with users, business owners, and management to identify technology solution requirements, scope, schedule, resources, and costs. - Employ the appropriate project management methodologies for optimum results. - Create applicable project artifacts to monitor and track project progress and status. - Generate reports as necessary for project stakeholders and management. - Manage technology projects to their completion, including proper project close out. - Project Management Consulting - Work with the PMO team to improve PMO operations, procedures, policies, and execution. - Advise and educate interested Firm parties on project management concepts, methods, and technologies. - Work with the Firm’s internal training department on project management education initiatives. Qualifications - Four-year college degree or demonstrable experience. - Experience with multiple project management methodologies. - Project management certifications or willingness to obtain. - Experience with Microsoft project management and Microsoft 365 applications. Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell, & Berkowitz, PC is seeking a Security Engineer focused on Cloud and Application Security to join our Security team. This role partners closely with IT and Development teams to define, implement, and monitor application and cloud security standards. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, application development pipelines, and security best practices. This position is fully remote (within our US office footprint) and reports directly to the Security team. Essential Responsibilities - Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and Business Development teams to establish and maintain application security standards, secure development lifecycles, and baseline security requirements. - Monitor cloud environments for security posture and recommend improvements. - Conduct security assessments and reviews of cloud architecture and application configurations to identify risks and recommend solutions. - Define and document security requirements for application deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code templates. - Advise on secure design principles and help teams interpret security requirements within software delivery workflows. - Stay current with cloud security trends, vulnerabilities, and best practices and translate them into actionable guidance. - Support incident response investigations and remediation planning related to cloud and application security. - Participate in and contribute to strategic planning initiatives - Contribute to security operations functions Qualifications Required - 5+ years of experience in cloud security, application security, or cybersecurity engineering. - Deep knowledge of cloud platforms and cloud security technologies. - Working knowledge of common programming languages (e.g., C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL) sufficient to review security‑relevant application logic and identify typical implementation weaknesses. - Hands‑on experience with DevSecOps tooling including SAST, SCA, or DAST solutions to enable lightweight security validation within CI/CD pipelines. - Familiarity with Azure application security capabilities, such as enforcing HTTPS‑only configurations, leveraging private endpoints, and applying identity‑based access patterns to support secure deployment practices - Experience collaborating with developers and infrastructure engineers. - Familiarity with threat modeling, risk assessment methodologies, and security controls. - Excellent communication skills and ability to explain security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. Preferred - Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, CSSLP, CKS). - Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001). - Familiarity with cloud monitoring and security tooling (CSPM, SIEM, IAM tools, etc.). The Security Analyst will be responsible for architecting, operating, maintaining, monitoring, and improving the Information Security program. This position must be well versed in understanding the IT landscape including security, infrastructure, network, endpoint, server, emerging technology standards and trends and will be involved in strategy, design and engineering to contribute to the development and operation of secure solutions. Essential Responsibilities include: Threat Detection, Monitoring and Incident Response - Monitor and analyze alerts and events generated by various systems to identify potential security incidents. - Conduct thorough investigations into security alerts and incidents to determine the root cause and extent of impact. - Develop and maintain incident response procedures, including escalation paths and communication protocols, to ensure timely and effective response to security incidents. - Participate in on-call or incident escalation rotations as needed.
