Integration Consultant – Healthcare Interfaces, Interoperability: Cloud Fax & Secure Document Exchange Solutions About the Role: As an Integration Engineer you will lead the design, configuration, and deployment of healthcare interfaces and integrations, including the creation and delivery of Statements of Work (SOW) for our clients. Essential Functions: - Implement and support integrations using interface engines (e.g., Mirth Connect, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf, Ensemble), including message transformation, routing, and error handling - Design, configure, and maintain interfaces using HL7 v2.x, HL7 v3, CDA, and FHIR R4/R5 (RESTful APIs) between EHRs, external systems (healthcare providers, billing, HIEs, etc.) and Concord. - Map and transform healthcare data between HL7, FHIR, JSON, XML, and flat file formats. - Deploy, configure, and maintain secure APIs for healthcare data exchange, including authentication, authorization, and encryption best practices. - Implement authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT) for FHIR-based integrations and secure APIs. - Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve interface and integration issues. - Maintain comprehensive documentation for interface workflows, message structures, API specifications, and integration configurations. - Create and deliver Statements of Work (SOW) for integration and implementation projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and organizational standards. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define interface specifications, and build test plans. - Ensure all integrations comply with HIPAA, HITRUST, and other regulatory and security standards. - Stay current with evolving interoperability standards (e.g., FHIR, SMART on FHIR, HL7 accelerators).
