Responsibilities Peraton is seeking a full-time Applications Programming Lead Associate to support critical missions within our Risk Decision Group (RDG). This role is ideal for a highly skilled developer with strong experience in full-stack development and data engineering working in an Agile development environment. You will design, develop, and optimize web and database solutions, ETL pipelines, and reporting frameworks that support mission-critical applications. This position is 100% remote. Key Responsibilities - Develop applications based on specifications provided by software developers or stakeholders. - Create, modify, and test code, forms, and scripts to support application functionality. - Conduct testing and trial runs to validate accuracy and performance of applications. - Maintain, update, and improve existing programs to increase efficiency and adapt to new requirements. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. - Document data lineage, processes, and technical specifications to ensure transparency and compliance. Additional Responsibilities - Develop advanced T-SQL queries, including stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers. - Analyze, review, and enhance programs using workflow charts, diagrams, and logical design techniques. - Develop and support reporting solutions using SSRS, including dataset design. - Develop solutions for data storage, retrieval, and system integration. - Partner with technical and business teams to clarify requirements, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements. - Support systems analysis and programming efforts to maintain and control system software. - Assist in analyzing user needs and designing effective software solutions.
