Description About the Role. NinjaOne is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our SLED Sales team, with a focus on managing our SMB and Mid Market SLED Account Executives. This leadership role is critical in developing and scaling our go-to-market strategies for State & Local Governments and Education prospects. As the Sales Manager, SLED, you will guide a team of Account Executives who bring strong sales acumen and a passion for helping public sector organizations modernize and simplify IT. In this role, you will work closely with senior sales leadership, marketing, channel, product, engineering, and field teams to drive successful sales strategies across the NinjaOne platform. This highly visible role requires a strong blend of sales leadership, operational rigor, territory strategy, and business partnership to support our continued growth in the public sector market. Location: Hybrid in Austin, TX. What You'll be Doing. • Lead the SMB and Mid-Market SLED sales team to exceptional quota attainment. • Hire, train, and manage a team of Account Executives focused on new logo and expansion revenue across State, Local, and Education accounts. • Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate SLED markets and guide your team to success. • Coach team members through full-cycle sales motions, including prospecting, discovery, demo, proposal development, negotiation, and close. • Develop the sales, product, and SLED industry knowledge of each team member. • Coordinate, direct, and monitor the pipeline health of your team by tracking and reporting weekly activities and key performance indicators. • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, channel, sales engineering, and executive leadership to create strategies and processes for driving new business. • Provide support and direction for the team's sales efforts, helping them prioritize territory plans, navigate procurement complexity, and close deals. • Build consistency and discipline in forecast accuracy, pipeline generation, and deal execution. • Motivate team members through coaching, recognition, and creative incentives. • Other duties as needed. About You. • 2 to 5 years of proven sales leadership experience. • 5+ years of proven successful experience in a B2B sales role, ideally in a SaaS model focused on selling into SLED accounts. • Consistent track record of overachievement against quota as an individual contributor. • Proven track record of success managing a sales team. • Experience selling into or leading teams focused on SLG and Education customers is strongly preferred. • Strong understanding of SLED buying cycles, procurement processes, contract vehicles, and channel-aligned motions within SLED. • Ability to liaise with and motivate individuals at all levels, with comfort working across internal and external stakeholders from individual contributors to senior executives. • Experience managing and improving sales KPIs. • Experience hiring, developing, and retaining talent. • Excellent communication and influence skills, and the ability to build cross-functional relationships. • Highly organized with the ability to work on many projects concurrently. • A Salesforce enthusiast that uses data to help the team be successful; experience with Salesloft, GovSpend, GovWin, or similar tools is a plus. • Polished verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt to multiple audiences. • You align with our values, Curiosity, Integrity, Kindness, Humility, Builders, and are committed to creating an environment where these values flourish in our teams.
