The Technical Sales Lead - PBT (Preliminary Breath Tester) is responsible for leading and managing all sales activities within an assigned territory for breath alcohol testing instrumentation used by law enforcement agencies. This role focuses on driving revenue growth, building long-term customer relationships, and expanding market presence through strategic sales planning, technical product knowledge, and consultative selling. The ideal candidate will work closely with law enforcement agencies, government organizations, and related professionals to provide reliable alcohol testing solutions that support public safety initiatives. This is a REMOTE position. Key Responsibilities 1. Promote, demonstrate, and sell handheld breath alcohol testing instruments and related products to law enforcement agencies and government organizations within an assigned territory. 2. Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, and business development initiatives. 3. Research and monitor government funding sources, grants, and procurement processes relevant to law enforcement equipment purchases. 4. Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, agency specifications, and compliance requirements to recommend appropriate product solutions. 5. Prepare accurate quotes, bids, and proposals while managing the full sales cycle from initial contact through closing. 6. Attend trade shows, industry conferences, and professional events to strengthen customer relationships and generate new business opportunities. 7. Maintain and grow existing customer accounts by building trusted relationships with police officers, forensic specialists, DUI program coordinators, and other law enforcement personnel. 8. Collaborate with internal teams including engineering, manufacturing, service, and customer support to ensure high-quality product delivery and customer satisfaction. 9. Maintain expert-level knowledge of company products, industry regulations, and competitor technologies. 10. Conduct product demonstrations, technical training sessions, and educational presentations for customers and stakeholders. 11. Develop sales forecasts and strategic territory plans while providing regular sales activity reports and updates to leadership. Qualifications Minimum of three years direct sales experience Track record of working independently to execute sales and sales support in a multiply state territory. Record of achieving short and long term revenue and profitability goals. Previous history of establishing and building effective relationships with a diverse group of key decision makers. Communicate (oral and written) professionally and effectively to internal and external customers. Travel up to 60%. Previous experience with government or quasi-government procurement processes including opportunity and funding identification, product specification, product approval and/or competitive bid processes. Prior experience selling into breath alcohol, drugs of abuse, forensics, medical device, clinical laboratory or related markets is a plus. • Develops relationships with paper mill customer base to identify Andritz sales opportunities • Conducts paper machine audits and service calls to assist customers with innovated sales applications • Ensures customer needs are clearly defined and addressed in a timely manner. • Conducts paper machine optimization, shutdown inspections, and prepares onsite reports. • Optimize operating efficiencies for customers utilizing proprietary modeling software programs • Troubleshoots customer problems and provides and/or helps implement appropriate solutions • Mitigates warranty exposure through early detection and prevention of potential problems • Assists paper mills to set up proper records and complete value results platforms • Helps the local team build and maintain comprehensive databases on customer paper machine clothing and/or roll covers, and/or bowed rolls and/or mechanical specifications, installations and product life information. • Conducts “Rezolve - press optimization studies” of area paper machines to enhance paper machine productivity and increase Andritz sales • Searches out and recommends new machine clothing, and/or roll cover, and/or bowed roll applications • Communicates field activity, including sales opportunities, inter-company items, and competitive issues to the appropriate Sales Manager. • Prepares monthly summary to the Regional Sales Manager outlining highlights of the previous month, a forecast of the requirements of the following month, areas of opportunity in the field, plant issues, and competitive issues/gossip • Manages an expense budget to maintain and grow business.

• Ensure qualitative and quantitative results for the Proof of Value (PoV). • Manage the Proof of Value (PoC/Demo) process during the commercial sales cycle. • Structure and continuously optimize the PoV process, including Data Ingestion, Parameterization, Data Quality, and execution of AI agents. • Manage small projects and team allocation (Data Scientist and Health technical team), ensuring proper prioritization and visibility. • Interface and align with Pre-Sales, Sales, Sales Machine, and RevOps. • Provide continuous support to the Sales Executive to validate and back the solution. • Collaborate on handovers for new clients, sharing knowledge and insights from the completed PoV. • Collaborate on the development of additional products — Arvo Lab (Research & Development). • Create and adapt PoV processes for new products.
