This individual will lead the creation of best-in-class dashboards and BI solutions that unlock faster decision-making, drive data literacy, and support enterprise-wide analytics initiatives. They will architect and deliver innovative, high-impact visualization solutions that advance USA Today Co.’s goals around data democratization, self-service, and actionable insight generation. This role blends design, engineering, and business strategy—requiring an eye for clean, intuitive UI/UX as well as the technical skills to build scalable, durable BI assets. You will partner cross-functionally with business stakeholders, data teams, and technology groups to define requirements, shape BI standards, and serve as a go-to expert in analytical storytelling and visualization best practices. Responsibilities - Deliver small to medium complex dashboard projects either individually or as part of a project team. - Work with the business stakeholders in understanding their requirements and translate these into a technical design that enables efficient prototyping. - Create innovative visualizations that follow design and development best practices and can deliver meaningful insights to the business. - Use design wireframes and consultative best practices with our stakeholders. - Collaborate with the data engineering team to troubleshoot issues with existing dashboards and take ownership to get them rectified. - Develops data structures and pipelines to organize, collect, cleanse, and standardize data in order to generate insights and address reporting needs. - Provide operational production support for the dashboards on Tableau Server.
