Process Engineer – Refinery Operations Consulting

• Implement sustainable processes and systems to increase refinery margins by 2-3% without the need for capital investment • Specialize in achieving tens of millions of dollars in performance improvements within 6-8 months • Use data analytics, industry know-how, and technical experience to implement improvement engagements in over 40 refineries globally
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Masters degree in Chemical Engineering, Petrochemicals or similar
- Proven experience in the Oil & Gas industry with 3 years’+ experience in any of the following: managing or improving plant energy efficiency, process plant optimization, gasoline blending, processes improvement methodologies, Energy Intensity Index (EII), Linear Programming, feedstock selection, product mix optimization, sensitivity analyses & unit mass balance programs, preventative maintenance or continuous improvement
- Working knowledge in tools such as Aveva PROII, Aspen HYSYS, SagePlus, etc.
- Advanced proficiency in data mining and data analysis skills in Excel
- Experience in any of the following: Process Analysis/ Observations, Data Scrubbing, MOS Critiques, Dashboard Developments, Behavioral Assessments, Area Profiles, Audits, KPI Grids, RACI Charts is considered an asset
- Ability to travel to Refinery client sites.
