Runway
• Execute a timely and accurate monthly close, including prepare and post journal entries and fluxes, maintain account reconciliations, and investigate and resolve variances • Support accounts receivable operations, including invoicing, collections follow-up, cash application, and aging review • Support accounts payable operations, including reviewing and reconciling invoices and cash management • Identify and implement process improvements across accounting workflows such as document procedures, strengthen controls, and drive consistency as the team scales • Represent the accounting function in cross-functional conversations, whether with Legal, Sales, or Engineering, ensuring accounting considerations are surfaced early and reflected in decisions • Assist in the preparation of supporting schedules and documentation for external audits and financial reporting
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- 4+ years of accounting experience with strong technical fundamentals
- Solid command of U.S. GAAP and a deep understanding of the full close cycle
- High proficiency in Excel; experience with Netsuite a plus
- Highly organized, dependable, and able to manage competing deadlines without sacrificing accuracy
- Strong communicator who works well across teams.

The Retirement Plan Advisor assists individuals in achieving a successful retirement and planning their financial future through group and individual presentations to new and existing defined contribution 401(k)/(a), 403(b), and/or Government 457 plan participants across all plan sizes. This role uses data-driven, analytical thinking to lead impactful conversations with participants, meets client service level agreements and achieves annual targets as assigned. This position will also assist the Relationship Management team in effectively establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders within the territory assigned. This Advisor will work with plan participants on the West Coast and bilingual Spanish skills are required. Occasional travel is required between Colorado and California.
