Payroll Administrator

• The Payroll Administrator is responsible for administering and performing all payroll functions, the timely and accurate payment of employee paychecks, benefits administration, personnel file maintenance and various projects that frequently arise. • Bi-weekly process of all employee payroll and benefits. • Process garnishments, unemployment claims, verifications, and other miscellaneous deductions in the payroll system. • Input payroll entries for new hires, position changes, data changes, promotions, timekeeper actions, termination paperwork, etc. • Prepare weekly and biweekly payroll reports, providing cost analysis and salaries and wages information as required for budgetary purposes. • Monitor payroll system compliance among staff and faculty within individual departments. • Maintain personnel files in compliance with company standards and applicable state and federal guidelines. • Participate in the administration of onboarding employees to the organization. • Respond to routine HR questions including, but not limited to benefits, payroll, PTO, in a timely and friendly manner. • Assist with all aspects of benefits administration for the company. • Perform general clerical duties such as organizing, filing, shredding and photocopying documents; maintain office files, and other appropriate records.
