This role builds foundational technical and consulting skills through project participation, training, and ongoing mentorship. Job Duties & Responsibilities - Participate in ServiceNow development projects by shadowing and gradually taking on configuration, development, testing, and deployment tasks. - Learn how to document configurations, reports, and development work. - Assist customers with testing activities. - Shadow and begin learning to deliver effective demonstrations of ServiceNow products and solutions. - Gain and maintain certifications, stay current on new features, and commit to continuous learning. - Participate in agile ceremonies (story grooming, pointing sessions, stand-ups, release planning, sprint retrospectives). - Seek opportunities to learn update set promotion processes between instances. - Participate in knowledge transfer sessions with customers. - Support Technical Consultant initiatives across the organization. Role Description The ServiceNow Platform Owner is responsible for the overall management of all technology solutions for Watts’ ServiceNow Platform. This position is expected to manage the solutions in line with the business, IT, and ServiceNow strategy, ensuring solutions fit consistently within the suite of technology enablers. The Platform Owner is the “face of ServiceNow at Watts Water” and ultimately responsible for the success of a product or service with content authority for the product backlog. The Platform Owner works heavily with the requesting business team and is an advocate for their business solution. The Platform Owner is responsible for Product Planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle and works hand in hand with the Chief Architect. In the project space, they are responsible for delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and with quality. They are responsible for identifying customer needs, prioritizing features, and developing the product’s vision and roadmap. The Platform Owner has clear content authority to take responsibility for continuously defining, prioritizing, and validating requirements. This position reports to the Chief Architect. Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities - Successfully execute projects/sprints to agreed schedule, budget, and scope. - Perform the relevant product management processes – as per Agile methodology. - Define, maintain, and communicate roadmap for ServiceNow at Watts Water. - Develop business case, prioritize workload, and manage backlog. - Manage project scope variance, anticipate time and budget overruns, and communicate appropriately any project-related challenges. - Partner with business and process owners by building strong relationships with customers and understanding their needs. - Act as the liaison between the delivery team and customer.
