Business Development Executive
STATSports
• Meet and exceed sales targets • Develop and maintain an ample pipeline to consistently deliver against quarterly targets • Be methodical in your approach to deliver consistency of results • Prepare any sales quotes and orders in a timely and well-presented manner, ensuring that all information provided is accurate and without errors • Creative during periods of negotiations • Passionate about providing an exemplary customer experience and building lasting relationships within the industry • Be an industry expert - research, identify and understand the growing changes and trends within the market • Demonstrate a high level of product knowledge and understand what separates STATSports from the competition. • Ensure records are kept, monitored and tracked for all potential and current sales leads • Be proactive, creative, organised and demonstrate strong work ethic
Job Requirements
- At least 3 years’ experience in a target-driven, solution sales, B2B environment or 2 years' in an Account management role within an Elite sport setting
- Proven track record of building and closing new business pipeline
- A passion for and understanding of sport
- Demonstrated ability to build, manage and grow relationships with key stakeholders
- High level of commercial acumen and strategic thinking
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly
- Fluency in an additional language (preferred)
- Experience selling sports technology into elite sporting environments (preferred)
- Proficiency with Salesforce or a comparable CRM system (preferred)
