This description is a summary of our understanding of the job description. Click on 'Apply' button to find out more. Role Description As Internal Communications Manager at Iterable, you’ll own how information moves across the company. You’ll translate strategy, decisions, and updates into clear, relevant communications that keep employees informed, aligned, and engaged—reinforcing Iterable’s purpose, values, and company priorities along the way. Reporting to the Director of Communications, you’ll partner with leaders across the company to own internal communications holistically—designing content that cuts through the noise and shows up where employees already are, with a distinctly digital- and social-first point of view. Position Details: - Map and own the strategy and roadmap for company-wide moments, ensuring alignment, consistency, and momentum across the company. - Set the vision and standards for internal channels (Slack, email, all-hands, intranet), designing them for conversation, participation, and shared context—not one-way broadcast. - Translate leadership direction into clear, compelling internal narratives that reinforce strategy, product direction, and culture. - Serve as a real-time read on the employee community, using engagement and sentiment signals to surface issues early and guide course-correction. - Design and orchestrate company-wide moments (all-hands, town halls, AMAs, in-person events) that build understanding, trust, and momentum. - Operate with a high degree of autonomy and trust, setting direction and making judgment calls in service of company clarity and cohesion. - Partner closely with teams across the business—especially People Team and Marketing team—to align messaging and connect day-to-day work to Iterable’s mission and goals. Qualifications - 5–7 years of experience leading communications in fast-changing, complex, and global environments. - Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a talent for distilling complex decisions and cross-functional work. - Experience in internal or employee communications, with a clear point of view on how digital, social, and community-driven tactics can make internal messaging more relevant and effective. - Strong social instincts and a genuine passion for content formats and audience engagement—paired with sound judgment about how to apply those instincts inside a company. - Proven ability to communicate effectively in a distributed organization, with sensitivity to time zones, cultures, and functional context. - Experience navigating growth, change, or ambiguity, with the flexibility to evolve communication strategies as the company evolves. - Strong judgment and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization. Requirements - Previous experience in social media, community, or content roles, with a strong understanding of audience behavior and engagement. - A strong point of view on what effective internal communications looks like, with the confidence to challenge bloated, low-signal, or overly complex approaches. - A digital- and social-native mindset by default, not as an add-on to traditional internal communications. - Comfortable using AI tools, with curiosity and a willingness to experiment with new tools and capabilities. - A belief that internal communications should function more like a product or community than a one-way broadcast. - Familiarity with measuring engagement and participation across channels and using insights to improve effectiveness. Benefits - Paid parental leave - Competitive salaries, meaningful equity, & 401(k) plan - Medical, dental, vision, & life insurance - Balance Days (additional paid holidays) - Fertility & Adoption Assistance - Paid Sabbatical - Flexible PTO - Monthly Employee Wellness allowance - Monthly Professional Development allowance - Pre-tax commuter benefits - Complete laptop workstation
