About the Position: The MEP Construction Program Manager is primarily responsible for leading and managing mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) construction teams whether supporting development work, supply chain management, project accounting, or in the direct execution of construction projects. What you do daily: - Lead the day-to-day management of MEP construction activities across multiple data center projects, ensuring they are completed within schedule, budget, and quality expectations. - Manage and mentor a team of external construction MEP project managers and superintendents and internal resources, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. - Coordinate internal resources to support supply chain management for owner-furnished equipment and resources, ensuring timely procurement and delivery. - Advocate safety as the top priority on the jobsite, enforcing compliance with company and jobsite safety plans, policies, and all safety-related regulations. - Identify expedited permitting opportunities and build relationships with local jurisdictions and experts to meet project timelines. - Collaborate with design and construction teams to develop and maintain schedules that achieve critical project milestones. - Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to enhance Cologix’s position as an industry leader. - Work with internal and external teams to improve processes and protocols, incorporating innovative solutions for data center construction. - Demonstrate strong leadership as a team player, fostering collaboration within internal and external project environments. - Utilize advanced planning skills to lead through influence, proactively partnering with stakeholders to drive project success. - Prepare construction and development estimates, project budgets, and unit cost reports for MEP equipment and systems, ensuring financial accuracy and alignment with company goals. - Organize and lead pre-award and pre-construction MEP meetings, ensuring thorough project planning and alignment with stakeholders. - Participate in value engineering, negotiate project scopes of work and contracts, and ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. - Review plans and specifications for completeness and consistency, planning the successful execution of construction contracts. - Oversee MEP subcontractor material and equipment procurement, buyout, and submittals, ensuring alignment with budgets and schedules. - Monitor project sites for cost, safety, quality, and schedule performance, implementing robust quality and risk management plans. - Support the overall project management team to negotiate MEP change orders, manage budget impacts, and review/approve monthly pay requests. - Continuously track project costs, allowances, and contingencies using financial software, providing data-driven action plans for executive decision-making. - Control project design and construction costs through document review and approval, coordinating with accounting for payments and lien releases. - Collaborate closely with the commissioning team to ensure seamless coordination of vendors and contractors for successful customer turnover. Support the commissioning process, internal commissioning team, and external commissioning agent through MEP subcontractor management from L2 – L5 commissioning. - Coordinate final closeout procedures, including as-built drawings, closeout documentation, and letters of substantial completion. - Mitigate project risks through proactive pre-planning, innovative strategies, and strong partnerships. Role Description The Virtual School Manager will design, implement, and oversee a comprehensive digital learning ecosystem. You will be responsible for the transition from traditional seat-time metrics to a mastery-based, high-engagement virtual model. Special Assignment: Homeschool Programming & Vision. - Lead the development of a homeschool program that meets diverse learning needs. - Collaborate with the School Improvement department to curate a resource library with available materials that align with state standards but offer the flexibility parents desire. - Design a master schedule specifically for homeschoolers to drop in for in-person programming or to provide social opportunities. Criteria: - 204-day contract - Valid Iowa Teaching License, Professional School Counseling License, or Professional Admin License required - Valid Iowa Professional Administrator License or willingness to obtain, preferred Performance Criteria: - Lead the development and implementation of a rigorous, data-informed virtual program that meets diverse learning needs. - Define and refine the school’s target students, including full-time students, early graduates, students with medical needs or other non-school-related demands, and credit recovery learners. - Partner with the Communication department to drive enrollment through digital campaigns, virtual open houses, and community outreach. - Manage the student enrollment pipeline, ensuring a seamless digital onboarding experience that minimizes day-one tech friction for students. - Design a master schedule that optimizes the balance between synchronous support and asynchronous learning, including office hours and other opportunities to interact with staff. - Oversee instructional supports, ensuring that SPED, ESOL, and Tier 2/3 interventions are integrated into the program. - May attend and assist with 504 and IEP meetings of identified students when appropriate. - Audit the digital curriculum for rigor, accessibility, and alignment with state standards. - Implement a virtual behavior management system with one priority focused on engagement analytics. Develop a tiered intervention system for inactivity. - Standardize a communication system with families, including virtual parent-teacher conferences, digital newsletters, and real-time progress dashboards. - Foster social opportunities by overseeing virtual clubs and social events to combat potential student isolation. - Manage the allocation of funds for LMS licensing, 1:1 hardware, cybersecurity, and digital instructional tools. - Provide professional learning for staff related to the virtual program. - If additional staff is necessary to run the program, recruit and train digital-first educators; provide professional development focused on virtual rapport-building and data-driven instruction. - Attend and engage in administrative, staff, and student services meetings when appropriate. - Establish and report on key performance indicators, including student outcomes such as course completion rates, attendance, daily active users, and standardized assessment growth data across multiple platforms. Prepare and provide regular reports on program efficacy. - Act as the primary liaison between the school and parents, and local businesses and community stakeholders when applicable. - Facilitate the development of a virtual school handbook. - Experience and knowledge of LMS, SIS, and data visualization tools.
