(DHi) is seeking a highly organized and technically proficient Technical Documentation Specialist to support the development and maintenance of technical documentation related to company products, engineering processes, and compliance standards. This role is responsible for translating complex technical information into clear and accessible documentation that supports engineering teams, product users, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with engineering, product development, and compliance teams to ensure all technical documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with regulatory and operational standards. Key Responsibilities Documentation Development Create and maintain user manuals, installation guides, product documentation, and technical reports. Translate complex engineering and technical concepts into clear, concise documentation for internal and external audiences. Develop standardized documentation templates and formatting guidelines. Engineering Collaboration Work closely with engineers, product managers, and technical staff to gather technical information. Assist in documenting engineering specifications, product changes, and system processes. Support documentation requirements for product development initiatives. Compliance Documentation Maintain documentation required for regulatory compliance, certifications, and safety standards. Ensure documentation aligns with applicable industry regulations and company policies. Assist with documentation preparation for audits and regulatory reviews. Documentation Management Maintain organized documentation repositories and version control systems. Track documentation updates and ensure timely revisions. Support document management systems and internal knowledge bases. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Engineering, Communications, or related field. 3–5 years of experience in technical writing or documentation development. Strong ability to interpret and communicate technical information. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and documentation management tools. Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting engineering or technology-based organizations. Familiarity with documentation standards and regulatory compliance requirements. Experience with content management systems or documentation platforms. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensational decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This is a long-term consulting engagement with an annual rate of $75,000-$83,000. Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role.
