Role Description The Sales Engineer will develop new accounts by providing solution-based consultation services to customers in the oil & gas, power generation, and other process industries. This role involves working directly with end-users and their engineers to understand customer needs and deliver Industrial automation and instrumentation control solutions. - Prospect to identify and establish new business opportunities to support the company's growth and profitability. - Leveraging of existing customer contacts to expand business opportunities. - Develop alliances and partnerships within the industry to create additional market avenues. - Promote the company’s products and services professionally at tradeshows and industry conferences. - Create and maintain sales leads in company CRM system. - Meet sales targets by working with proposal engineering to define winning solutions for identified opportunities. Qualifications - Four-year degree - At least three years of sales experience within the industrial markets, with a focus on industrial automation and instrumentation systems Requirements - Proven track record of sales achievements and measurable results. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Exceptional presentation and client-facing skills, and the ability to work effectively in a solution-selling team environment. - Strong negotiation and closing skills across all organizational levels.
