Role Description Capstone Integrated Solutions is seeking a Scrum Master to lead and facilitate Agile practices for our cloud-native application development project. The Scrum Master will work closely with senior technical leads, mid-level and junior developers, QA engineers, and the AWS Solution Architect to ensure smooth delivery of features, adherence to Agile principles, and continuous improvement of team performance. - Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. - Serve as a coach and mentor to the development team on Agile principles and best practices. - Remove impediments and obstacles that prevent the team from meeting sprint goals. - Work with Product Owners to prioritize the backlog and ensure that user stories are well-defined and ready for development. - Monitor and report on team performance metrics (velocity, burndown charts, cycle time) to stakeholders. - Promote cross-functional collaboration among pods, including development, QA, and architecture teams. - Support continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and implementing solutions. - Facilitate conflict resolution and help maintain a positive and productive team environment. - Ensure alignment of development activities with project timelines, quality standards, and business objectives. Qualifications - 3–5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile facilitator in software development projects. - Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. - Experience working with cross-functional development teams (frontend, backend, QA). - Strong communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills. - Familiarity with cloud-based application development, preferably in AWS, Angular, and Python environments. - Experience with Agile project management tool Azure Boards. - Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM) or other Agile certifications. - Experience scaling Agile in multiple pods or distributed teams. - Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. - Ability to facilitate technical discussions without taking on the role of technical lead.
