About the role:We are seeking an exceptional Senior Commercial Counsel to join our Legal team. This role will report to the General Counsel. You will play an important role in managing the Company’s commercial transactions from end-to-end, including review, drafting and negotiation of agreements, advising internal stakeholders on risks and business goals, and developing, improving and scaling processes and systems related to contract management. You will also provide generalist support for day-to-day legal issues on an as-needed basis. Where you will work: Garner is headquartered in NYC, but this position is available for individuals who are comfortable with remote work and occasional travel to HQ. What you will do: - Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including master service agreements, business associate agreements, vendor agreements, data use agreements, data protection agreements, partnership agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and employment-related agreements - Maintain and improve contract templates, approval matrices, and internal guidance relating to transactional issues - Manage and develop transactional processes, including contract lifecycle management, to boost efficiency and support greater scale - Advise internal stakeholders, primarily on commercial transactions but also on other day-to-day legal issues and challenges as needed The ideal candidate has: - 4-6+ years of experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements - A J.D. from a U.S. law school and admitted to a state bar - No fear of technical, financial, or data science concepts - A willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and do whatever is necessary to ensure company success - Ideally, experience working in a rapidly-evolving startup environment - A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback Please note: we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time. Compensation Transparency:The base salary range for this position is $205,000-230,000. Individual compensation for this role will depend on various factors, including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws. Flash is looking for a General Manager to help deliver on our mission to free consumers from the hassles of everyday travel by making it faster and easier to get where they need to go, so they can focus on the destination. In this role, you are the senior leader of your territory and own the lifecycle management of parking assets in your cities, including: market strategy, sales, implementation and strategic account management/site optimization Your scope covers Flash’s OS Solutions (PARCS, Enforcement, Valet, Handhelds) and Demand Solutions (Digital Payments, Venues, Reservations, Express Pay) business. Your mandate is to ensure maximum adoption of our products in your cities and once a system is sold, it is installed flawlessly and optimized for maximum yield. You view it as an ecosystem that needs to be fully activated. - Yield Architect: You focus on the client's ROI. What You Bring: 1. Strategic Account Management - Maximize Platform Activation: Your primary commercial objective is Platform Saturation. If a customer has our Gates but not our digital payment, valet, digital reservations or EV charging solutions, your job is to sell and activate those products. - Driving Digital Adoption: Aggressively drive the adoption of Flash Express Pay and mobile access credentials. You will be responsible for helping these clients increase their digital penetration through the use of strategies such as signage placement and messaging to continually grow digital patent attachment.
