Join Our Flash Team as a General Manager! Flash is looking for a General Manager to help deliver on our mission to free consumers from the hassles of everyday travel by making it faster and easier to get where they need to go, so they can focus on the destination. In this role, you are the senior leader of your territory and own the lifecycle management of parking assets in your cities, including: market strategy, sales, implementation and strategic account management/site optimization Your scope covers Flash’s OS Solutions (PARCS, Enforcement, Valet, Handhelds) and Demand Solutions (Digital Payments, Venues, Reservations, Express Pay) business. Your mandate is to ensure maximum adoption of our products in your cities and once a system is sold, it is installed flawlessly and optimized for maximum yield. You are responsible for maximizing company platform sales, ensuring that all possible products are activated at each customer location to create a fully connected mobility ecosystem within each city in your branch. You are the face of Flash in your city. You own the relationship with the asset owners (Real Estate Developers, REITs, Parking Operators) who have purchased our technology. You succeed by moving the relationship from "Hardware Vendor" to "Strategic Technology Partner," ensuring they extract maximum yield from our system. Location: Southern California, Remote Travel: 10% What You'll Do: - Be the "Mayor": You are a connector who knows the local market players. Understands your branch total addressable market (TAM) and its potential and connects this to pipeline and ultimately revenue forecasting. - Platform Strategist: You don't view a customer site as "done" just because the gates are installed. You view it as an ecosystem that needs to be fully activated. - Yield Architect: You focus on the client's ROI. You sell the full platform because you know it maximizes the client's revenue. - Process Driven: You ensure that the transition from "Signed Contract" to "Active Site" follows a rigorous, repeatable process. What You Bring: 1. Strategic Account Management - Maximize Platform Activation: Your primary commercial objective is Platform Saturation. You will audit every customer location to identify gaps in their tech stack. If a customer has our Gates but not our digital payment, valet, digital reservations or EV charging solutions, your job is to sell and activate those products. - Driving Digital Adoption: Aggressively drive the adoption of Flash Express Pay and mobile access credentials. You will demonstrate to clients how activating these friction-free payment tools reduces their operating costs and increases throughput. You will be responsible for helping these clients increase their digital penetration through the use of strategies such as signage placement and messaging to continually grow digital patent attachment. This will be measured constantly as a percentage of paid transient tickets. - The "Mayor" of the Market: Build deep relationships with the decision-makers at your installation sites and potential new sites. Understand their long-term asset strategy so you can position the full Flash Platform as the solution for their future revenue goals. - Upselling & Expansion: You are responsible for the Total Contract Value (TCV) and Recurring plus Reoccurring Revenue (ARR) growth of your accounts. You ensure that no asset under your management is "under-utilized" regarding Flash technology. 2. Management & Operational Excellence - Team Development and Performance Management: Deliver best-in-class team management across a variety reporting roles: Regional Sales Managers, Implementation Managers, Customer Success Managers and Field Service Leads. You will manage and develop to meet territory goals while retaining (or hiring) top talent. - Matrixed Collaboration: You and your team will work closely with centralized functions to deliver Platform Saturation & Operational Excellence across your territory. You and your team will leverage resources from central functions (e.g. Financial and Operational Performance, Installation SOPs) and surface gaps / improvement opportunities. - Service Level Excellence: Work with the Regional VP of Operations and across the relevant support departments to ensure your customers through your local operations team receive "Unreasonable Hospitality" during support calls and repairs. - Resource Utilization: Ensure your local technicians and project managers are utilized efficiently. You minimize "windshield time" and maximize billable project hours. 3. Installation & Project Oversight - Project Stewardship: While you have a technical team, you own the ultimate success of new PARCS installations. You ensure that timelines are met, client expectations are managed, and the "Go-Live" experience is seamless. - Transition Management: Oversee the critical hand-off from "Sales" to "Operations." You ensure that what was promised during the sales cycle is what is delivered during installation. - Construction & Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with local general contractors and electrical subcontractors to ensure our installations are cost-effective and compliant. 4. P/L Ownership & Financial Stewardship - Branch Profitability: You own the P/L for the [City] branch. This includes managing the margins on installation projects, controlling the cost of service/maintenance labor, and driving recurring software revenue (SaaS). - Forecasting: Collaborate with the Area Vice President to forecast installation revenue and, critically, Upsell/Cross-sell Revenue from platform expansion. - Customer Retention : You are the first line of defense against churn. By ensuring the client is using multiple products within the platform (Sticky Ecosystem), you secure the long-term retention of the account. Qualifications: - 10+ years experience in the parking industry - 10+ years experience in B2B Technology Account Management, Construction Project Management, or PARCS/Access Control Sales - Sales experience. "Hunter/Farmer" hybrid mentality, comfortable pitching additional software modules to existing clients - Experience overseeing hardware/software deployments (Gantt charts, construction timelines) - Ability to explain the value of a Unified Platform—why having access control, Payments, a digital demand ecosystem and EV charging all on one system is better than using disparate vendors - Experience managing a team of 5+ - Tools: Salesforce, ADP, Slack, Lattice, Confluence, Freshdesk, Zuper, Concur, Ramp,Spiff, Lookr - Bachelors degree preferred - MBA is a plus Compensation Package: - $115,000 - $150,000 a year* - Regional Branch Bonus *Final salary will be determined based on the candidate's skills and experience level. Summary Temporal is looking for a Director, Commercial Legal to build and lead the commercial legal function from the ground up. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you will be the founding architect of how Temporal contracts, negotiates, and scales its commercial legal operations.
