State Activism Coordinator

Role Description The State Activism Coordinator is a part-time (approximately 20 hours per week) employee responsible for the direct mobilization, development, and management of activists within an assigned state. This role serves as the primary field representative of the Activism Department, working directly with Minute Men, dues-paying members, campus chapters, and community chapters to advance organizational priorities and Advocacy objectives. The State Activism Coordinator reports directly to the Activism Director. Technology & Operations Intern

Role Description If you like solving problems and getting things done, this role will give you reps. Young Americans for Liberty is looking for a Technology & Operations Intern to support the systems and processes that keep the organization running. This is not a narrow internship. You will work across technology and operations, helping execute the day-to-day work that allows teams to move faster and focus on higher-impact priorities. If you are comfortable jumping into different types of work, learning quickly, and taking ownership of tasks, this role will give you exposure to how a real operations and tech function runs. The Technology & Operations Intern supports YAL’s Technology Operations and broader Operations teams by handling a wide range of technical and operational tasks. This role is intentionally broad. In a given week, you may: - Work on spreadsheet cleanup - Support triage - Documentation - Research - Vendor follow-ups - Event preparation - Small system updates The value of this role is flexibility and execution. You will work from an evolving task queue rather than a fixed set of responsibilities, supporting whatever work needs to get done. This role is designed to reduce day-to-day execution load so full-time staff can focus on higher-level system and operational priorities. You will report to YAL’s IT Generalist and work directly with members of the Operations team. Location: Austin, TX preferred (remote considered for exceptional candidates) Hours: 15–25 hours per week preferred Term: Semester or summer (flexible; one academic term standard) This is an unpaid volunteer internship. Role Description The Law Clerk will be an integral part of the Young Americans for Liberty (YAL) Legal team, providing direct support to the General Counsel. The Law Clerk will assist with legal projects on varied subjects, including: - Contracts - Corporate law - Bill review - Campaign finance - Lobbying & ethics - Employment law - Tax law - Intellectual property law Research and writing will be required. The ideal candidate should be passionate about YAL’s mission and dedicated to advancing freedom across the country. That doesn’t happen through one-time gifts. It happens through consistent communication, trust, and strong relationships. We are hiring a Donor Relations Advisor to own relationships with donors and turn them into long-term partners in the mission. This role is responsible for staying in touch, meeting in person, and helping donors understand the impact of their giving—while confidently asking them to continue investing in winning. If you enjoy building relationships, being on the road, and having direct conversations about giving, this role puts you at the center of YAL’s fundraising efforts. About the role The Donor Relations Advisor manages a portfolio of donors and is responsible for retaining, engaging, and growing those relationships over time. You will communicate directly with donors through calls, personalized outreach, and in-person meetings. A core part of the role is traveling for donor tours, meeting face-to-face, and building trust that leads to continued and increased giving. This is not a back-office role. You will be expected to talk to donors regularly, meet them in person, and ask for financial support. Campus Volunteer Intern

This internship is not about watching how a movement works. It’s about helping run one. Young Americans for Liberty is looking for several Campus Volunteer Interns who want to spend their summer doing more than observing. This program is for students and activists who want to build real momentum on campuses across the country and prove they can operate at a high standard. This is not a passive internship. You will be part of the engine driving the nation’s largest campus-based liberty movement. The work is real, the expectations are high, and the experience will challenge you to grow as a leader and organizer. If you are serious about playing a role in the liberty movement, this program will give you the opportunity to prove it. About the role YAL’s Campus Volunteer Internship Program is designed to develop and train high-performing future liberty leaders through a hands-on volunteer internship. Interns will work directly with the Campus Department to support recruitment, chapter accountability, petition campaigns, and the internal systems that keep YAL’s national campus network moving. You will gain an inside look at how a nationwide grassroots organization operates while helping ensure student activists across the country are mobilizing, organizing, and winning on campus. This program serves as a proving ground for future leaders in the liberty movement. Successful Campus Interns will leave this internship with inside skills, knowledge, and experience that will serve them well as a future leader, either at YAL or elsewhere in the movement.
