• Working in a fully autonomous Scrum team comprised of Front and Back-end Developers to deliver end-to-end solutions • Building new (modular Angular) and maintaining (legacy, PHP & Angular) gaming websites • Supporting the legacy to new migration program • Integrating with third-party APIs

• Investigation & Root Cause Analysis Own end-to-end investigation of ad-hoc technical issues raised by product, operations, or engineering teams. • Diagnose data integrity problems by tracing issues across event streams, APIs, and database layers. • Analyse Kafka event histories to reconstruct system state and identify where data diverged from expected behaviour. • Produce clear root cause analysis (RCA) documentation that explains what happened, why, and how to prevent recurrence. • Data Analysis & Resolution Write complex SQL queries against production and staging databases to investigate data anomalies, gaps, and inconsistencies. • Validate proposed fixes in lower environments before escalating to production resolution recommendations. • Use REST APIs to probe system state, trigger reprocessing workflows, and verify expected outputs. • Collaborate closely with software engineers to understand system internals and escalate findings with sufficient context for developers to act. • Produce concise, structured investigation reports suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences. • Maintain a knowledge base of known issues, recurring patterns, and resolution playbooks.

• Coordinate cross-functional activities and ad-hoc information between internal teams (including finance and compliance) and external stakeholders • Manage partner onboarding and serve as the first point of contact for new prospective partners • Monitor and triage affiliate support inquiries received via email, chat, and support channels, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution • Facilitate the monthly affiliate payment process by preparing and verifying payment data for finance processing • Carry out administrative tasks related to the department, including player onboarding coordination, AML support, compliance follow-up, and resolution of partner queries on payment and account matters • Support partner relationship management through basic outreach and follow-up activities (e.g. inactive partner re-engagement, performance monitoring follow-up) • Communicate with affiliate partners on brand offers, promotions, and operational matters • Liaise with colleagues to ensure communication channels and partner-facing content are current • Work with and provide operational input on automation and AI tools as they are introduced to support and develop the role • Represent the company at industry events at locations in and outside of Malta • Other related tasks as instructed by the line manager.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams on scope definition, project planning, resource forecasting, budgeting, and timeline management. • Aligning with multiple internal stakeholders and business leads on delivery timelines, quarterly plans, and prioritisation across concurrent initiatives. • Act as a single point of truth across all payments and risk-related projects, ensuring clear communication and consistent updates across teams. • Managing epics, labels, and delivery tracking to ensure visibility and alignment across engineering and product teams. • Coordinating testing milestones and ensuring alignment across teams prior to releases. • Facilitating communication and collaboration between internal teams, clients, and third-party providers. • Aligning with clients on setup, configuration, MVP scoping, and onboarding requirements, including credential requests. • Coordinating with 3rd party providers and external clients on integrations, configuration, credential management, and certification processes. • Working closely with Account Managers on new client requests, ensuring clear delivery timelines and execution plans. • Leading and supporting key rollout initiatives. • Identifying and managing risks and dependencies across projects to ensure successful delivery. • Planning governance, quality assurance processes, and supporting tools. • Creating and maintaining clear, structured project documentation.

• Leading the end-to-end delivery of client brand launches and platform configuration projects, ensuring that all environments, configurations, and integrations are prepared for successful go-live. • Owning and managing the delivery roadmap for brand setups and platform configurations, aligning technical implementation timelines with client launch milestones and internal delivery priorities. • Acting as the operational lead for a dedicated Scrum team of Developers and QA Engineers, facilitating Agile ceremonies, maintaining delivery momentum, and ensuring work is prioritised effectively. • Translating client and internal business requirements into clearly defined user stories, delivery tasks, and technical requirements, ensuring the development team has sufficient clarity to execute efficiently. • Managing the team backlog and sprint planning processes, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. • Working closely with technical teams to define configuration requirements across platform components, ensuring that brand launches are delivered with the correct product settings, regulatory configurations, integrations, and operational readiness. • Defining, implementing, and continuously improving delivery processes for brand configuration and launch workflows, ensuring repeatability, efficiency, and quality across multiple client launches. • Creating and maintaining clear operational documentation covering configuration standards, delivery workflows, and launch procedures to support scalability and knowledge sharing across teams. • Monitoring sprint delivery progress, proactively identifying blockers, dependencies, and risks, and taking corrective action to maintain delivery timelines. • Acting as the primary coordination point between Product, Engineering, QA, and operational teams to ensure delivery alignment and clarity across stakeholders. • Ensuring quality and release readiness through close collaboration with QA, validating that configured environments meet acceptance criteria and client expectations prior to launch. • Supporting continuous improvement within the Scrum team by identifying inefficiencies, proposing improvements, and embedding Agile best practices across the team. • Driving accountability, transparency, and structured delivery discipline within the Scrum team to ensure predictable, high-quality outcomes for client launches.

• Architecting, building, and maintaining robust E2E and API automated test frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript. • Leveraging AI tools and coding assistants to accelerate test creation, optimise code, and analyse test failure logs. • Integrating automated regression packs seamlessly into our CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, continuous delivery of quality software. • Creating automated solutions for responsive web platforms across both desktop and modern mobile devices. • Collaborating within an Agile framework to define automation strategies for upcoming features alongside developers and product managers. • Continuously evaluating and implementing new automation and AI-driven testing strategies to keep our tech stack at the cutting edge.

• Designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test plans and strategies for new features and complex architectural changes. • Conducting deep-dive exploratory testing and root-cause analysis on complex, cross-platform gaming applications (web, mobile, and native). • Validating backend microservices and databases, ensuring data integrity and seamless API integrations. • Working closely with product managers, designers, and developers in a Shift-Left environment to define acceptance criteria and prevent defects early. • Leveraging AI-assisted tools to optimise test data generation, script writing, and log analysis. • Monitoring live releases and working proactively with technical teams to ensure zero-downtime deployments. • Mentoring junior team members and advocating for QA best practices across the engineering department.

• Be an important and essential conduit between the legal & compliance teams and the technical teams. • Have full oversight of business operations, technical development, and product offerings to ensure system compliance in regulated markets. • Translate regulatory requirements into understandable technical language for developers, ensuring regulatory compliance throughout. • Possess an assistive jurisdictional market understanding and appreciation so that a compliant approach to system development is integral to everything that we do. • Be directly involved in the project lifecycle to ensure that all requisite regulatory matters are considered from project inception to conclusion. • Undertake ongoing quarterly and annual technical audits with regulatory bodies. • Gain enhanced product knowledge to identify areas of compliance/non-compliance. • Perform detailed analysis of current products with new or amended regulatory requirements to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance. • Ensure product testing meets regulatory compliance requirements. • Keep abreast with ever-changing regulations to ensure continued technical compliance. • Keep up to date with market news to understand relevant industry changes. • Act as an internal consultant to business departments in relation to all regulatory matters. • Assist in explaining technical problems to non-technical stakeholders. • Conduct internal reviews that are performed against various policies & business practices to ensure that best practice is maintained. • Be involved in the Information Security Risk Management function to identify, assess, and assist with the treatment process of organisational risks pertaining to information security. • Track the lifecycle and compliance status of all security testing and security audit projects.
