QA Automation Engineer

White Hat Gaming

• Architecting, building, and maintaining robust E2E and API automated test frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript. • Leveraging AI tools and coding assistants to accelerate test creation, optimise code, and analyse test failure logs. • Integrating automated regression packs seamlessly into our CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, continuous delivery of quality software. • Creating automated solutions for responsive web platforms across both desktop and modern mobile devices. • Collaborating within an Agile framework to define automation strategies for upcoming features alongside developers and product managers. • Continuously evaluating and implementing new automation and AI-driven testing strategies to keep our tech stack at the cutting edge.

Job Requirements

  • Strong, proven experience in writing scalable automated tests using Playwright and TypeScript or similar.
  • High proficiency in modern TypeScript/JavaScript and Object-Oriented or functional programming principles.
  • Some Native App Automation experience (Tools such as Appium).
  • Practical experience integrating AI into your automation workflow to improve efficiency and test reliability.
  • Excellent understanding of API testing and how to automate API layers (using Playwright's built-in API testing features or tools like Postman).
  • Solid experience working in an Agile environment and tracking work via Jira or similar tools.
  • A strong grasp of front-end web technologies (experience testing Angular, React, or similar modern frameworks is highly beneficial).
  • Experience testing complex, highly dynamic websites on both desktop and mobile viewports.

Role Description We are seeking a technology engineer with 5 to 8 years of overall experience, including at least 3 years of Windows based application testing experience.
