Technical Project Manager

Role Description - Develop project plans that align with client needs/requirements for each initiative to track milestones, deliverables, schedule, deadlines, change, resource allocation, and budget. - Coordinate project tasks to ensure successful solutions are implemented under the guidance of the management team. - Develop, recommend, and implement necessary risk mitigation solutions. - Coordinate and attend meetings related to projects; communicate between departments as required. - Coordinate with technology teams across the company and with clients to define and drive any technical changes required for projects. - Compile project status reports and provide updates to clients and management. - Collaborate with and where necessary, mentor other Project Managers. Qualifications - Experience in managing complex initiatives, including coordination of new implementations at data center facilities, managed services, application and infrastructure projects. - Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering, or related field preferred. - 3+ years in a project management office or as a project manager for a company. - Microsoft Office Suite trained, experience in MS Project or Visio required. - Highly organized and detail-oriented, as the PM will be directing projects across multiple departments. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Excellent flexibility and wits, ability to handle fast-paced technical office environment. - Ability to assist in organizing, running, and documenting complex meetings. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and to delegate as needed, with the leadership to inspire technical personnel throughout all stages of the project. - Experience working with client vision, business objectives, and critical success factors. - Experience working with techniques and approaches related to the architecture, development, integration, and deployment of project phases. - Strong creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance logic with creativity. - Skilled in estimating and common project management desktop tools. - Ability to deal with ambiguity and change. - Ability to manage large or multiple projects with changing priorities. Systems Analyst

• Respond to customer tickets within 15 minutes, diagnosing and resolving issues, and escalating complex cases as needed. • Utilize virtualization tools (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) to ensure optimal performance and stability of virtual environments. • Maintain open communication by notifying team members when unavailable and collaborating to share insights and best practices. • Engage in continuous learning through platforms like Udemy and stay updated on industry trends and technologies. • Maintain a strong technical foundation in server administration, networking, and virtualization, including familiarity with Active Directory services, Virtual Machine Manager Console (VMMC), Hyper-Visor (Hyper-V), Failover Cluster Manager (FCM), Command prompt, Remote Desktop Connection Manager (RDCM), DNS Tools, and related protocols. • Provide professional and friendly customer service on scheduled calls, maintaining a positive demeanor. • Learn new techniques and technologies on the fly AND ask questions to enhance your skillset. • Work effectively in a team environment and contribute to a supportive team culture. • Participate within Help Desk on-call rotation and act as a point of contact for after-hours and weekend Help Desk Support team(s). • Calling customers via phone to help address their technical issues
Kubernetes Architect

• Define and own the architectural vision, standards, and roadmap for Summit’s Kubernetes platform. • Design scalable, resilient, and secure Kubernetes environments to support internal and client-facing workloads. • Establish platform patterns, design principles, and governance for container orchestration, workload placement, networking, storage, and cluster lifecycle management. • Lead infrastructure automation strategy for Kubernetes and adjacent systems, including infrastructure as code, configuration management, and CI/CD integration. • Partner with Engineering, Operations, Security, and other stakeholders to assess requirements and translate them into effective platform solutions. • Evaluate current-state Kubernetes environments and identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability. • Provide architectural guidance for Kubernetes-based application deployments, ensuring alignment with platform standards and operational best practices. • Influence observability, monitoring, alerting, and incident readiness strategies within Kubernetes environments. • Troubleshoot complex platform-level issues and guide root cause analysis for critical Kubernetes and container-related incidents. • Drive modernization initiatives related to container platforms, orchestration strategy, and underlying Linux infrastructure. • Create and maintain architecture documentation, reference designs, platform standards, and technical guidance for internal teams. • Support security and compliance objectives by incorporating platform hardening, access controls, segmentation, and other Kubernetes security best practices into the architectural framework.

• Utilize CRM to track and manage new business prospects, document customer interactions, and maintain detailed records of customer needs and active projects. • Identify and target high-potential new clients, initiating contact and developing relationships to convert prospects into customers. • Schedule and lead sales meetings, delivering compelling presentations and customized solutions to prospective clients via Microsoft Teams, phone, or in-person. • Master Summit's IT systems for quotes, CRM management, account setup, and account management to ensure seamless sales processes. • Collaborate with the Sales Development team to create tailored solutions for customer expansion, new offerings, and other relevant infrastructure needs. • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
