Role Description This is a virtual role open to candidates working from Oregon or Washington. While the position is primarily virtual, there may be occasions when on-site work is required at a designated Legacy Health location. All new hires are required to travel to a Legacy Health office in Portland, Oregon prior to their start date to complete a new-hire health assessment and new-hire paperwork. Initial training and orientation may be conducted on-site before transitioning to the remote schedule. In this Applications Systems Analyst II role, you will: - Collaboratively work with users and IS peers to understand and capture business needs and develop requirements for small to medium applications. - Analyze and document application processes and functions. - Define design alternatives and recommendations and develop specifications, often in collaboration with business partners or vendors. - Build or configure systems. - Develop and execute test scripts to ensure software accuracy, completion, and validity. - Develop IS internal procedures and documentation. - Work with customers to troubleshoot and solve moderately complex problems and provide production support. - Communicate with customers regarding the status and completion of requests, in an agreed-upon, timely manner and/or in accordance with an applicable Service Level Agreement (SLA). - Document in the ITSM system to define standards. - Thoroughly and diligently follow change control processes, when applicable. - Follow IS-defined support model and expectations in communicating with customers. - Use Lean and ITIL principles to investigate and improve existing inter- or intra-team processes. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree preferred. Relevant experience may be substituted for educational requirements. - 2+ years of information technology experience in relevant healthcare or business area. - Experience in a healthcare setting, and/or in a relevant operational area for the position (i.e., Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Revenue Cycle, etc.), and/or in an information technology role supporting a relevant operational area. - Knowledgeable about key concepts, current developments, and trends in information technology and information systems relevant to the position, including application configuration and system layers, system integration, and database fundamentals. - Demonstrated ability to perform systematic, thorough analysis and problem solving, and to initiate client problem resolution. - Understanding of system integration key concepts and technical protocols. - Demonstrated ability to establish, conceive and describe systems, designs, flow charts, schedules, and requirements. - Strong interpersonal skills that promote effective working relationships with a wide range of people, including peers. - Effective verbal and written communication skills. • Solicit and refine business requirements from GTM and Post-Sales leads, converting high-level "asks" into robust, product-style user stories and technical specs. • Act as the primary execution partner to the GTM Systems team. You will ensure their roadmap is populated with well-vetted, prioritized initiatives and help drive those projects through the Kanban lifecycle. • Proactively identify "friction points" in the lead-to-cash journey. You don't just wait for a request; you look for system gaps that hinder our ability to scale and propose solutions that align with the broader vision. • Lead the discovery process for new features, partner with technical experts to identify solutions for Salesforce, integrated applications, and our core product to ensure a frictionless customer experience. • Own the delivery cycle from initial concept through UAT and rollout. You are the gatekeeper of quality, ensuring that what is built actually solves the business problem and delivers the intended value. • While Salesforce is a primary application focus for this role, you will ensure data integrity and process efficiency across all touchpoints, particularly where GTM systems intersect. • Maintain high-quality project artifacts and documentation, ensuring that our internal systems evolution is transparent and well-communicated to the organization.
