S&C Electric Company is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to serve as a Technical Lead within our embedded firmware organization. This role combines deep hands‑on development with broad technical ownership, architectural decision‑making, and mentoring influence across projects and teams. As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, you will be responsible for setting firmware technical direction, ensuring architectural integrity, and guiding delivery of complex, safety‑critical embedded systems used in intelligent, microprocessor‑based switch and fault‑interrupting control products. This is remote position. Occasional travel (up to 10%) to other S&C locations (Franklin, Chicago or Alameda) may be required for system integration, advanced debugging, and cross‑site collaboration. You will report to the Embedded Firmware Manager and act as a trusted technical partner to engineering leadership. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership & Architecture - Serve as technical lead for embedded firmware across one or more product lines or major initiatives. - Define and own firmware architecture, design patterns, coding standards, and best practices. - Make and defend system‑level technical decisions balancing performance, safety, reliability, power, and long‑term maintainability. - Lead technical design reviews and act as a final authority on complex firmware issues. The Assistant Manager – Power Systems Control is responsible for the daily operations and short-term tactical implementation of the control team objectives and project execution to assist customers in developing advanced control systems and microgrids. S&C Electric is seeking a dynamic individual to coordinate our CRM (Salesforce) and middleware (MuelSoft) platforms. As a Lead Programmer Analyst, you will be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team. We are looking for a Salesforce developer with experience in managing MuleSoft implementations. The ideal candidate will design and implement integration solutions, develop custom Salesforce applications and ensure seamless data synchronization across systems. They will also contribute as a Salesforce Developer with strong experience in building custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce App development. A strong candidate should also be able to coach and educate teammates and the business on best practices and modern solutions within the Salesforce platform.
