Role Description Are you ready to own one of the most strategically critical product domains in a fast-growing European Fintech? You are joining the Financial Services track and reporting to its General Manager as a Senior Group Product Manager. The goal of this track is to build a payment and credit offering natively integrated into Pennylane's management tool, to strengthen the value of its product suite for European SMEs. You will take ownership of a Monetisation product group in the scale phase, structured around two verticals: - Payment Acceptance (scaling the impact of already launched products) - Credit (building a short-term credit offering) The ambition is threefold: - accelerate the monetisation strategy - complete the product offering - create a customer experience that moves Pennylane closer to the status of a primary account In this regard, you play a critical role in the organisation, with the objective of doubling the contribution of financial services to Pennylane's revenue and building a credit offering from scratch to make it a genuine growth driver. You manage 3 Product Managers covering three squads: - Cash-in (direct debits, payment links, incoming transfers, cheques) - Payment terminals (Adyen partnership, payment terminals) - Credit (cash advance, scoring, credit infrastructure supporting ongoing regulatory applications) Key Responsibilities - Own the product vision and execution strategy for the Monetisation group, in alignment with short- and medium-term business objectives, with coherent cross-squad prioritisation (trade-offs, dependencies, sequencing, capacity). - Co-build with Strategy & Ops and Marketing teams a coherent acquisition and go-to-market strategy (positioning, activation, growth loops), particularly on the payment acceptance side. - Manage, coach and develop 3 PMs, by structuring rituals, raising the bar, and improving the quality of product decisions. - Work in close collaboration with Data on scoring (direct debits, credit) and impact measurement (adoption, activation, revenue, risk), and anticipate data staffing needs within your scope. - Build an effective relationship between Product and Ops/Risk/Compliance around the regulatory challenges that affect your scope. - Manage relationships with our strategic partners: Defacto on credit, Adyen on payment terminals. - Accelerate the adoption and penetration of payment acceptance products (Cash-in + Payment terminals), maximising impact on revenue and usage. - Build the short-term Credit offering (cash advance): scoping, discovery, launch, iterations, and scale-up. Role Description Pennylane is building the financial OS (Operating System) for European SMEs. A single source of truth for financial data, used on one side by entrepreneurs to run their business and on the other side by their accountant for bookkeeping and fiscal declarations. Why we're hiring a Salesforce Operations Specialist: - Our internal teams (Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, Ops) rely heavily on Salesforce to deliver exceptional service to our customers. - With 600+ internal users and rapidly scaling operations, keeping Salesforce healthy, efficient, and user-friendly is critical. - The Salesforce Operations Specialist ensures operational excellence by providing responsive support, maintaining system quality, and proactively reducing the operational burden over time. - This is not a ticket-processing role; it's a role for someone who wants to make their own queue obsolete. Your mission has three dimensions: - Keep Salesforce running smoothly (aka Run) - Respond to and resolve various support requests. - Improve the platform using OOTB tools (flows, layouts, etc.). - Handle user access, permissions, and configuration changes. - Maintain data quality and resolve data issues. - Triage incoming requests and escalate appropriately. - Manage Salesforce related IT tickets (account creation, login issues, etc.). - Bridge business and engineering (aka Translate) - Gather and qualify requirements from stakeholders across Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Finance. - Translate operational needs into clear, actionable items for the squad. - Participate in scoping sessions and help prioritize incoming requests based on impact and feasibility. - Be the person who can sit in a room with an Ops and an engineer and make sure they're talking about the same thing. - Make the Run smaller over time (aka Improve) - Identify patterns in support requests that indicate training gaps or missing tooling. - Contribute in building guided actions and self-service tools so users can help themselves. - Create and maintain documentation and training materials. - Deliver training sessions to reduce repeat questions. - Automate repetitive tasks to free up your own time. - Track metrics and report on progress toward ticket reduction goals. Qualifications - 2-5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, Functional consultant, or similar operational role. - Strong hands-on Salesforce skills: user management, permissions, profiles, reports, dashboards, basic flows. - Proven track record of improving processes, not just executing them. - Excellent communication skills; you'll work with a lot of stakeholders across all departments. - Problem-solving mindset: you see patterns, not just individual tickets. - Autonomy and ownership: you can prioritize your own work and push back when needed. - Fluency in French and good level of English.
