We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager (player/coach) focusing on healthcare integrations, architecting the platform layer connecting provider networks, care navigator operations, and clinical workflows. This is a senior IC-first role where functions include writing production level code, building services, and owning critical systems while also setting architectural direction and mentoring other engineers. The Engineering Manager will drive architecture decisions across services that interface with new and existing Postgres db’s, guide adoption of healthcare data standards such as FHIR/HL7 and DICOM, and ensure the platform can withstand the demands of healthcare at scale. This position emphasizes direct contribution, coding, system design, and problem-solving as the primary mode of leadership. What you'll do: - Architect and implement backend services that interface with Postgres and Databricks to support business verticals, ensuring scale, reliability, and maintainability. Write production-grade code and lead by example. - Design and oversee data adapters to integrate with external imaging facilities, payers, and TPAs, adhering to health data standards (FHIR/HL7, DICOM) - Conduct rigorous code reviews, set coding standards, and foster engineering best practices to ensure high-quality, secure, and compliant codebases. - Design systems for reliability and graceful degradation as we scale from thousands to millions of orders. Extend considerations of fault-tolerance, error reporting, and load and stress testing to existing and new services. Establish recovery strategies and observability standards. - Write clear engineering documentation that outlines architecture choices, technical milestones, and steps required to achieve epic/feature/service goals. - Mentor backend and full-stack engineers, sharing tools and approaches to improve problem-solving. While mentorship is expected, the majority of your time will be spent coding and architecting systems. - Partner with Product to translate business goals into efficient, value-driven technical solutions. Ensure tradeoffs are explicit and that the solution is optimized for the problem, pushing back on instances of incorrect scoping of a solution as needed providing the relevant evidence. - Collaborate with DevOps to embed CI/CD, observability, security, and cost-transparency into every service. About you: - B.S./M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent industry experience. - 8+ years of backend engineering experience with production level software development and architectural responsibilities. - Strong expertise in Python, TypeScript/Node.js, PostgreSQL. - Proven ability to design fault-tolerant, high-availability distributed systems and contribute hands-on in codebases. - Hands-on experience with healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7, DICOM) and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC-II). - Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers without direct management responsibilities. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred: S3, Fargate, App Runner, Route 53). - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, observability platforms, and cost optimization. - Experience with data pipelines and integrations with our Databricks layer (file ingestion, and BI integration), or equivalent large-scale data platforms. - Familiarity with DICOM operations, processing, and interfacing with PACS systems - Background in healthtech, insurance tech, or other regulated industries. - Exposure to multi-agent systems (e.g., LLMs, OCR) to streamline workflows. The base salary range for this position is $140,000 - $190,000. Individual compensation will depend on various factors, including qualifications, skills, experience, location, and applicable laws. • Create and build the framework of the QA team to measure Build agent compliance and service excellence within a high-growth, tech-enabled healthcare environment • Ensure 100% adherence to clinical protocols, insurance verification accuracy, and HIPAA privacy standards during every member touchpoint. • Develop and refine quality scorecards that balance technical compliance (SLA accountability, funnel visibility) with the human side of care navigation. • Organize and support calibration sessions with Operational leaders to ensure a unified vision of "quality" and facilitate the closing of feedback loops. • Identify trends in member friction points—whether it’s scheduling delays or insurance hurdles—and collaborate with relevant cross functional team to resolve.

• Lead Daily Operations • Manage a team of Member Support agents across chat, phone, email and SMS. Ensure coverage, adherence to SLAs, and prompt response to all inbound inquiries. • Conduct daily check-ins to align on volume, ticket priorities, and tone expectations. • Coaching and Development • Monitor conversations for quality, tone, and accuracy; deliver actionable feedback. • Lead weekly coaching sessions and identify top performers and improvement areas. • Escalation and Problem Solving • Handle escalated member cases, ensuring swift and complete resolution. • Partner with internal teams (Clinical, Operations, Product) to resolve recurring issues. • Operational Excellence • Track and analyze team metrics such as response time, resolution rate, CSAT, and Average Handle Time. • Collaboration and Reporting • Share key insights and recurring member pain points with leadership and cross-functional teams.

You'll help architect and build end-to-end solutions for our healthcare platform, from intuitive user interfaces to robust backend services. • Own your territory and execute a go-to-market strategy targeting large self-insured employers. • Build and manage a robust pipeline of employer prospects through direct outreach, partnerships, and consultant/broker relationships. • Lead the full sales cycle — from prospecting, discovery, and proposal development to negotiation and close. • Engage senior stakeholders across Benefits, HR, Finance, and Total Rewards to position OneImaging’s value proposition. • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Legal to ensure smooth handoffs and long-term client success. • Represent OneImaging at industry events, conferences, and broker forums, building brand awareness and credibility.

• Lead and develop the data organization across analytics, data engineering, and business intelligence. • Set the data roadmap in partnership with Product, Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Customer Success, ensuring data priorities are aligned with company goals. • Own the design and evolution of OneImaging’s data platform, pipelines, models, and reporting infrastructure. • Oversee a modern data stack including Databricks, Looker, AWS, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Terraform, SQL, and Python. • Ensure the team delivers high-quality dashboards, reporting, self-serve analytics, and data products that drive better decision-making across the business. • Build scalable, reliable data pipelines that integrate information from internal systems, operational workflows, medical imaging systems, EMRs, SQL databases, and external APIs. • Establish strong standards across data modeling, metric definitions, governance, documentation, quality, observability, and access controls. • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to embed analytics into workflows and support data-driven product development. • Support the business in measuring operational performance, customer outcomes, funnel conversion, and strategic growth opportunities. • Ensure the data function operates with the rigor required in a health-tech environment, including security, privacy, auditability, and HIPAA-aligned practices.
