Your mission, should you choose to accept it: - Lead and develop the Finance & Regulatory Data team (analytics/data engineers and a data scientist) across Europe. - Own the strategy, architecture and roadmap for Mews' finance and regulatory data platform. - Prioritise and deliver data projects that support Corporate Finance, FP&A, Financial Systems, FinTech and RevOps. - Raise the bar on data quality, governance, lineage and auditability for all finance and regulatory data. - Partner closely with finance and business leaders to translate needs into clear data solutions and narratives. - Reduce manual, spreadsheet‑driven processes through automation, advanced analytics and ML‑powered insights. ️ You'll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below with you: - Hands‑on data leader with deep experience in large‑scale data infrastructure (Databricks is ideal; Snowflake or similar lakehouse platforms also great). You're comfortable diving into architecture and code, even if you're not shipping every pipeline yourself. - Proven experience in finance‑heavy, regulated or complex environments (SaaS with a strong finance lens is a big plus). - Strong instincts for control, auditability, lineage and "trust in numbers" - you understand that finance data is different and must be governed accordingly. - A track record of leading small, senior teams through ambiguity and change, and coming out stronger on the other side. - Confident partnering with CFO/Finance leadership and senior tech stakeholders as a true peer. - Leadership style that combines high standards with empathy, clarity and trust - you're direct, but you bring people with you. Nice to have - Experience building or maturing finance data platforms as part of IPO/audit journeys. - Exposure to financial services, payments or other regulated industries. - Experience connecting operational data to financial outcomes (e.g. revenue models, churn prediction, leakage detection). Use automation to drive customer journey and qualify customers readiness to buy or engage with Mews product and tools. - Engage: Engage at scale (one-to-many) with value drivers as guide via customer journeys, Mews Community, webinars, targeted outreach for product adoption and to host conversations of value when the customer is ready to engage.
