All we need is your high energy, skills, and willingness to be a part of a great project!
Role Description As part of AI-LAB as a Full-Stack Developer, you will be instrumental in building and scaling our AI products. You will own features end-to-end across a modern Next.js frontend and our NestJS backend services, delivering a seamless and powerful user experience. You'll be joining a team with a ship-fast mindset and a modern, carefully curated tech stack. - Develop and maintain features on our Next.js (App Router) frontend using TypeScript, SWR, Tailwind, and a component-driven design system, with full internationalization (i18n) support. - Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs with NestJS (TypeScript) to manage authentication, data processing, billing, usage tracking, and orchestration of AI workflows. - Own backend services end-to-end: from schema design and migrations to deployment and observability, and contribute to new services as the product surface grows. - Integrate and maintain third-party SDKs and APIs that power critical product flows, including payment processing, authentication, analytics, and messaging. - Build AI agents and tools using the Claude SDK and Model Context Protocol (MCP): giving LLMs real-time access to data, APIs, and tools so they can take meaningful actions on behalf of users. - Contribute to schema design with Prisma and PostgreSQL, write and review migrations, and reason carefully about data models that evolve safely over time. - Implement and maintain feature flags, A/B experiments, and analytics events so product decisions are driven by data. - Handle incoming webhooks and asynchronous task processing with the rigor required for payment-critical and PII-handling code paths (idempotency, retries, fault tolerance). - Collaborate with AI product managers and AI specialists to translate complex requirements into robust, scalable features — and push back on complexity when a simpler path exists. - Collaborate on application deployment and help maintain our cloud infrastructure. Qualifications - TypeScript Proficiency: Highly proficient in TypeScript across both frontend (React/Next.js) and backend (Node.js/NestJS) environments. - Frontend Expertise: Strong experience with React and Next.js (App Router): Server Components, route handlers, streaming, metadata, i18n, and modern data-fetching patterns (SWR or equivalent). - Backend Expertise: Solid experience building production REST APIs with NestJS (or comparable Node frameworks like Express/Fastify): modules, DI, guards, interceptors, DTO validation. - Database Skills: Experience with PostgreSQL and an ORM such as Prisma. Comfortable writing and reviewing migrations, reasoning about transactions, and designing schemas that evolve safely. - API Integration Depth: Real experience integrating third-party SDKs: handling webhooks, idempotency, retries, and asynchronous fulfillment. - Problem-Solving Mindset: Collaborative, pragmatic, willing to challenge assumptions and surface tradeoffs before writing code. - Passion for AI and High Agency: Genuine enthusiasm for AI products, and a desire to bring new techniques and tools into the team proactively. - Creativity and Proactivity: You enjoy proposing features, finding creative solutions, and improving the user experience without being told to. - A serious self-learner who adapts to new tools and platforms in days, not weeks. Requirements - Nice to Have: - Prior experience working on payment / subscription systems. - Familiarity with monorepo tooling (pnpm workspaces, Turborepo, Nx). - Experience with BigQuery and event-pipeline analytics. - Familiarity with Tailwind and component-driven design systems. - Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Experience with feature-flag systems. - Previous work on AI products or LLM-powered applications. Benefits - High-Impact Role: Be a key player in a small, agile team building greenfield projects with the potential to transform an industry. - Modern Technology: Work with a cutting-edge, carefully selected tech stack with a focus on best practices. - Growth & Learning: Gain deep experience in AI-driven applications, cloud-native architecture, and real-time systems. - Stability & Vision: Enjoy the energy of a startup environment backed by the resources and stability of a large, successful company. - Collaborative Culture: We value open communication, teamwork, and a shared passion for building exceptional products. - Growth and career development: At Leadtech, we prioritize your growth. Our team welcomes applicants regardless of their race, gender, age, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, and/or disabilities. All we need is your high energy, skills, and willingness to be a part of a great project!
Role Description We are looking for an analytical, automation-driven, and technically versatile professional who thrives at the intersection of AI systems, workflow automation, and customer operations. The AI Automation Engineer combines deep technical expertise in LLM-powered agents and REST API integration with a clear understanding of customer service workflows — building intelligent systems that transform how support operates at scale. The ideal candidate moves fluidly between designing a multi-agent architecture, building an N8N automation workflow, iterating on an LLM prompt, and integrating elements like API calls in data pipelines — all while keeping the end-user experience and operational excellence at heart. They take full ownership of projects, document as they go, and know how to unblock themselves. Main Responsibilities - AI Agent & Automation Development - Design and build multi-agent AI systems integrating LLMs for end-to-end customer-facing workflows: email triage, refund processing, escalation logic, voice bot interactions. - Develop and maintain N8N automation workflows. Mid knowledge of python and javascript are required for code node scripting. - Integrate voice AI platforms (e.g. Retell AI, ElevenLabs, ConnexAI, Vapi, BlindAI, etc.) with custom prompt logic for call bot behaviour, customer handling, and multi-step flows. - Classify and prioritize automation use cases based on business impact, technical complexity, and urgency. - Ensure every automated workflow reflects high-quality communication standards, SLA adherence, tone consistency, and operational resilience. - API Integration & Technical Analysis - Define, document, and test REST APIs for integration with CRMs, helpdesk platforms (Freshdesk), and internal systems across multiple product versions. - Perform initial technical assessments of integration issues by reviewing API responses, logs, configurations, and system outputs to detect errors or inconsistencies. - Build and manage comprehensive API test suites in Postman and N8N, covering edge cases and structured regression scenarios. - Collaborate with Development, Product, and QA teams to reproduce, diagnose, and escalate complex technical issues efficiently and with complete context. - Participate in regular syncs with technical leads to identify recurring automation gaps and drive process improvements. - LLM Prompt Engineering & Structured Outputs - Craft and iterate on LLM prompts for structured output generation — including JSON schema enforcement, multi-category classification, sentiment analysis, and application reference extraction. - Debug and improve AI pipeline outputs, addressing inconsistencies in model responses. - Apply knowledge of AI delegation and orchestration patterns to design reliable, scalable agent workflows. - Process & Knowledge Improvement - Identify recurring workflow gaps or automation opportunities and propose preventive or optimisation actions. - Contribute to internal technical documentation, API specs, runbooks, and workflow guides to improve team efficiency and knowledge sharing. - Support onboarding and upskilling of new team members on automation tools, AI systems, and integration patterns. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams on initiatives that enhance the customer experience and streamline operational workflows. Qualifications - Minimum 2 years of experience in AI automation engineering, backend integration, or technical roles in digital or SaaS environments. - Proven experience building and maintaining automation workflows in N8N or equivalent platforms (Zapier, Make, etc.). - Hands-on experience working with REST APIs — design, integration, testing, and documentation. Building APIs is a plus. - Nice to have: Background in Customer Service or Support operations is a plus, providing valuable context for automation design. Technical Knowledge - Deep understanding of REST API design principles — HTTP semantics (GET, POST, PUT, PATCH), status codes, request/response structuring, and versioning. - Proficiency with N8N: webhook debugging, dynamic base URL configuration and AI node integration. - Experience with ZenDesk, HelpScout, Freshdesk or LiveAgent CRM platforms, and customer support tooling for API integration. - Strong expertise in prompt engineering and Generative AI (LLMs), including developer-level experience with Claude (Sonnet, Opus), GPT, and similar models. - Proficiency with Postman for API testing, test suite management, and environment configuration. - Familiarity with voice AI platforms such as Vapi, Bland AI, ElevenLabs, ConnexAI, Retell AI or equivalent for call AI Agent development. - Solid understanding of JSON data structures, API response parsing, and structured output validation. - Working knowledge of JavaScript and Python. - Nice to have: Familiarity with multi-agent orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen) or academic interest in AI delegation patterns. Skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a structured, detail-oriented approach to debugging automation pipelines and integration issues. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (advanced level, interviews will be made in full English); Spanish is a plus but not mandatory. - Proven ability to work autonomously while maintaining close collaboration with cross-functional teams — technical leads, product managers, and support operations. - Organised, accountable, and adaptable — able to manage multiple parallel automation projects effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Curious and self-driven, with a genuine interest in pushing the boundaries of what AI systems can automate. Benefits - Competitive salary, full-time permanent contract, and top-tier private health insurance (including dental and psychological services). - 25 days of vacation plus your birthday off, with flexible vacation options—no blackout days! - Flexible start and end times and the option of working full remote or from our Barcelona office. - Enjoy free Friday afternoons with a 7-hour workday, plus a 35-hour workweek in July and August. - If you wish to come, in our office in Barcelona you’ll find it complete with free coffee, fresh fruit, snacks, a game room, and a rooftop terrace with stunning Mediterranean views. - Additional benefits include ticket restaurant and nursery vouchers, paid directly from your gross salary.
