Role Description The role of the Project Manager is to provide one point of contact for customers during new equipment warranty timeframe. Responsible to work in conjunction with Konecranes global warranty teams, engineering and sales, provide continual updates to New Equipment BU heads. Responsibilities: - Read customer projects from initiation to handover. Facilitate all communication and work execution to ensure project success. - Travel to customer sites for kickoff meetings, work checks, and handover meetings. - Initiate and lead internal kickoff and post-mortem meetings with key stakeholders. - Generate service requests (SR) and work packages (WP) and assign to field operatives. - Review job costs such as labor, expense and materials. Procure required materials, parts, equipment and subcontract labor for work assignments. - Process related paperwork upon completion of work assignments and within the accounting month that the work was performed. - Process Purchase Requests through the system using established guidelines. - Review performance of service jobs to ensure quotations accurately project labor hours, travel costs, rental costs, procured items, etc. - Review and approve technicians’ time tickets as submitted daily for completeness, accuracy, allocation to the correct job numbers and compliance with company policy. - Resolve customer complaints, within established guidelines, to the satisfaction of the customer and in the best interest of the company. Any unresolved issues should be quickly elevated to the next level of management for prompt resolution. - Oversee routine changes to the open orders, as needed. Ensure open orders report reflects the current status of any active service work. - Ensure time entry and expense reports are complete, accurate and approved according to company guidelines and that hours are allocated to the appropriate job and are properly classified for each warranty related service job. - Ensure quality control program is administered in accordance with company policy. - Participate in monthly Rush Reporting process. Report on forecasted sales values of jobs, including Percentage-of-Completion (POC) jobs. - Follow all established safety rules and procedures, including those established by the customer. - Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications - Must be customer-oriented, have well-developed interpersonal, communication and PC skills and be able to prioritize tasks. - Technical Associate’s degree or equivalent required. Role Description POSITION TITLE: Port Services Competitor Equipment Sales REPORTS TO: Port Parts Sales Manager - Manages sales activity for an assigned territory and/or assigned accounts. - This position emphasizes on selling to Port, Shipyard, and Intermodal customers in all Strategic Market Areas (SMA) that involve sales opportunities – including Container terminals, drydocks, shipyards, bulk handling, etc. - Knowledge and understanding of multiple brands of Port Crane equipment. - Ability to identify potential non Konecranes equipment and customers. - Conduct onsite meetings and mechanical reviews of customer cranes. - Develop a thorough understanding of clients' needs and requirements and prepare customized solutions for spare parts on competitive equipment. - Identifying and tracking new modernization, repair, and service agreement opportunities via bid sites, customer portals as well as customer/vendor relationships. - Solicits inquiries for repair and modernization projects and do appropriate spec take-off with working knowledge of all KC and non KC components/products. - Manages all commercial issues before and after the sale – Terms and conditions. - Assemble quotations using company trained methods, follow up with prospects, pursue and receive orders. - Follow up on all unclosed quotes with customer visits, adding notes in the CRM with pertinent information to help close the sale, or gain an understanding as to what can be done differently if the sale was lost. - Work closely with the Inside Sales Team, Sourcing Specialist, Engineering and outside vendors to ensure proper customer support is provided. - Proactively engage customers with Konecranes’ full offering of existing service products, as well as customer focused solutions. - Responsible for executing growth action plans to achieve Konecranes sales targets and initiatives. - Other duties as assigned. - 50% Local, 50% Regional travel requirement. Structural Engineer

Role Description The Structural Engineer position is part of the Industrial Crane and product engineering team, and your role will be the structural design and support of crane runway systems. This will primarily be engineering of crane runway systems but can also include generating the detailed design drawings when needed. It is also expected that as an engineering resource you will support the team as an expert for structural related topics that come up during the quoting and selling phase, or at site during installation and commissioning. You will report to the Industrial Crane and Product Engineering Manager. You Will: - Perform engineering calculations to compute the stresses developed in a crane runway structure. Knowledge of different static, dynamic and fatigue failure theories based on stress life approach is required to compute the allowable stresses according to applicable industry standards. - Evaluate the static/dynamic strength and fatigue life of structural steel runway structures for the United States and Canada. - Use of RISA 3D, vendor software, KC Developed Programs and other in-house built analytical tools to perform and present structural calculations of runway structures conforming to the specifications of AISC/ASCE/CSA/CMAA. The ability to perform calculations is necessary to validate a calculation using a secondary/independent method of analysis. - Knowledge on ASCE, IBC codes is a must, including seismic conditions. - Support customers and team members as an expert when troubleshooting issues that arise onsite during installation, commissioning or the warranty period of a project. - Occasionally support sales and offer support during the quotation phase of complex projects to provide guidance on design options during the quotation stage. - Participate in continuous improvement efforts. - The entire purchasing experience of our customers can set us apart in the industry; either positively or negatively. The primary function of this role is handling and offering enquiries generated internally or directly from new and existing customers. A Service Salesperson will identify the needs and requirements of the customer and follow-up with quoting and reporting. Role Description The role of the Project Manager is to provide one point of contact for customers during new equipment warranty timeframe. Responsible to work in conjunction with Konecranes global warranty teams, engineering and sales, provide continual updates to New Equipment BU heads. Responsibilities: - Read customer projects from initiation to handover. Facilitate all communication and work execution to ensure project success. - Travel to customer sites for kickoff meetings, work checks, and handover meetings. - Initiate and lead internal kickoff and post-mortem meetings with key stakeholders. - Generate service requests (SR) and work packages (WP) and assign to field operatives. - Review job costs such as labor, expense and materials. Review charge lines of completed work before sending to invoice. Maintain the service schedule for all sold work. - Execute work plan, material requirements, and travel accommodations for assigned projects. - Ensure all assigned open orders are scheduled or tentatively planned on the dispatch board. Ensure effective use of operative labor, maximizing direct labor in accordance with company guidelines. - Define material requirements for each service request. - Assist technicians with identification of required repair parts. Procure required materials, parts, equipment and subcontract labor for work assignments. - Process related paperwork upon completion of work assignments and within the accounting month that the work was performed. - Process Purchase Requests through the system using established guidelines. - Review performance of service jobs to ensure quotations accurately project labor hours, travel costs, rental costs, procured items, etc. - Review and approve technicians’ time tickets as submitted daily for completeness, accuracy, allocation to the correct job numbers and compliance with company policy. - Resolve customer complaints, within established guidelines, to the satisfaction of the customer and in the best interest of the company. Any unresolved issues should be quickly elevated to the next level of management for prompt resolution. - Oversee routine changes to the open orders, as needed. Ensure open orders report reflects the current status of any active service work. - Ensure time entry and expense reports are complete, accurate and approved according to company guidelines and that hours are allocated to the appropriate job and are properly classified for each warranty related service job. - Ensure quality control program is administered in accordance with company policy. - Participate in monthly Rush Reporting process. Report on forecasted sales values of jobs, including Percentage-of-Completion (POC) jobs. - Follow all established safety rules and procedures, including those established by the customer. - Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications - Must be customer-oriented, have well-developed interpersonal, communication and PC skills and be able to prioritize tasks. - Technical Associate’s degree or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. - 2-3 years planning or executing customer projects preferred. Technical understanding of cranes and technology preferred. Prior supervisory and/or leadership experience preferred. Requirements - Domestic and International travel – 25% - Must have and maintain a safe driving record, including a valid driver’s license.
