Role Description We are recruiting a Service Sales Representative within the business area of Industrial Service & Equipment, based in North East England/Scotland. The primary function of this role is handling and offering enquiries generated internally or directly from new and existing customers. A Service Salesperson will identify the needs and requirements of the customer and follow-up with quoting and reporting. To be successful in this role, the applicant must have a strong technical background. Aligned with Konecranes core values, a Service Salesperson will help to consult with our customers, to establish short, medium and long-term investment plans, to best support the customers business needs and budgetary constraints. This role will ideally suit a candidate with a strong core Konecranes product knowledge. Additional understanding of Konecranes processes and experience with our customers will assist in being truly successful. This role offers the opportunity to grow within this area of the business and can ultimately lead to further future career enhancement. This role reports to the UK Service Sales Manager. - Qualify and plan sales activities for new leads generated via internal and external customers. - Regularly review, maintain and update CRM sales funnel for regular coaching calls and to support district management with order intake forecasts at mid-month and end of month, or as and when required. - Understand customers’ requirements and promote Konecranes solutions that meet the needs of the application. This includes obtaining technical drawings, specifications and dimensions to configure and prepare quotation offers. - Work with Konecranes commercial negotiator and customer’s commercial teams to negotiate terms and conditions when finalising contracts and/or purchase orders prior to order acceptance. - Provide detailed specifications, scope of works and cost estimates to enable clear and concise handover to district project delivery team, enabling delivery of the works sold. - Participate in Business Reviews, providing technical sales advice for the district management to deliver a business review meeting with the customer to achieve safety and productivity improvement of the customer’s assets. - Regularly converse with engineers, managers, customers, and others to discuss sales leads, opportunities and sales negotiation to secure orders/contracts.
