Role Description We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-oriented Regional Sales Manager to strengthen our Mobile Harbor Cranes sales activities in the Mediterranean region, with a primary focus on the Italian market. In this role, you will be responsible for: - Developing and managing customer relationships. - Identifying new business opportunities. - Driving sales activities for mobile harbor cranes and related solutions. - Working closely with internal stakeholders and customers to develop tailored solutions. - Managing the sales process from lead generation to contract closing. This is a remote position based in Italy with frequent travel within Italy and across the Mediterranean region. Qualifications - Several years of experience in technical sales, preferably within the ports, cranes, heavy equipment, or industrial machinery industry. - Proven track record in managing complex sales projects and closing capital equipment deals. - Strong commercial mindset with excellent negotiation and relationship management skills. - Ability to work independently in a remote sales environment. - Customer-focused, proactive, and result-oriented personality. - Experience in international business and cross-cultural customer management is an advantage. - Strong communication and presentation skills. - Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory. Additional languages are considered a plus. - Willingness to travel frequently within Italy and the Mediterranean region. Requirements - Develop and maintain strong long-term relationships with customers, key decision makers, and stakeholders within the ports and terminal industry. - Manage and expand the existing customer base in Italy while identifying new business opportunities across the Mediterranean region. - Drive the complete sales process including prospecting, customer visits, opportunity management, tender preparation, negotiations, and contract closing. - Promote and sell Mobile Harbor Cranes and related services in alignment with business targets and sales strategies. - Understand customer operational needs and translate them into competitive technical and commercial solutions. - Collaborate internally with engineering, product management, contract management, and service teams to ensure successful project execution. - Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reporting, and market intelligence. - Monitor market trends, customer developments, and competitor activities within the ports and logistics industry. - Support strategic sales planning and contribute to achieving order intake targets for the Mobile Harbor Cranes business line. - Ensure professional management of customer contracts and identify potential commercial risks during negotiations.
