• Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for ambulatory application(s)/module(s) of Epic. • Collaborate with and provide tier-one support to their team and/or counterparts from other applications to successfully meet the development and implementation objectives for assigned Epic applications. • Effectively manage competing and changing priorities. • Serves as project lead for key initiatives, including performing project management duties, as assigned. • Develops, documents, and adheres to the internal procedures that will be used in conjunction with related applications and systems. • Interacts professionally with leadership, faculty, staff, and vendors.

Using analytical evaluation skills, identifies, proposes, builds, and demonstrates prototypes of application configuration options for review and approval by project requestors. • Performs ongoing maintenance and configuration updates to Epic applications. • Test: With minimal supervision, creates test scripts, timelines, and plans for application and workflow changes. Performs actual testing of clinical information system configuration and processes, including testing across applications and/or the testing of the application configuration of other analysts. • We are seeking an experienced Epic Population Health Team Supervisor to support UT Health San Antonio in improving outcomes, quality, and value across patient populations • This role provides leadership and oversight for the Epic Population Health team • Ensuring effective implementation and optimization of Epic applications including Healthy Planet, Care Management, Registries, and Risk Stratification tools • The supervisor partners with clinical, operational, analytics, and IT leaders to translate population health strategy into scalable Epic solutions • Responsibilities include guiding the use of Epic reporting and analytics tools such as Reporting Workbench, Radar dashboards, SlicerDicer, and Cogito to support proactive care management, performance monitoring, and decision‑making • The role also oversees workflows across Epic Ambulatory, MyChart, BPAs, Care Everywhere, and social determinants of health initiatives • As a people leader, this position is responsible for staff mentoring, work prioritization, stakeholder communication, and promoting Epic best practices and governance.
