Summary / Objective IDIL is building DNS-native identity infrastructure for AI agents and other non-human identities: a durable, governance-backed domain name that serves as an agent's foundational identity. The Sr. Software Engineer (SDK & Integrations) builds the SDK layer that makes DNSid real for developers: producing production-grade TypeScript, Python, and Go libraries, plus the integrations that connect DNSid to the frameworks and infrastructure where agents actually run. This role sets technical direction and keeps libraries current as the ecosystem evolves. Core responsibilities include building and hardening integrations across every major touchpoint, and collaborating with Developer Advocates to ensure each deliverable maintains the high code quality, robust documentation, and exceptional developer experience required for a successful rollout. In this capacity, the Sr. Software Engineer (SDK & Integrations) works in close partnership with the Developer Advocate and Technical Writer for the DNSid rollout. The Sr. Software Engineer (SDK & Integrations) reports to the Director, Software Engineering. What You'll Do - Design, build, and maintain the official DNSid SDKs in TypeScript, Python, and Go: agent registration, DNS TXT record publication, lifecycle state management, and cryptographic verification flows - Write and ship production-grade integrations for the AI agent frameworks developers use, such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, the Microsoft Agent Framework, and the OpenAI Agents SDK, and maintain them as those frameworks evolve - Contribute code upstream to those third-party frameworks and tools, landing native DNSid support where developers already build, in partnership with the Developer Advocate - Build edge-server middleware and plugins for edge runtimes like Cloudflare Workers, Fastly Compute, and Vercel Edge that enforce DNSid verification at the request boundary - Build the MCP and A2A integrations so an agent's DNSid identity carries correctly from one agent to another - Provide secure key-lifecycle abstractions in the SDK, covering generation, storage, rotation, and revocation, that stay cryptographically agile across the runtimes developers deploy to - Create reference implementations and sample applications that demonstrate the full DNSid lifecycle, from registration and delegation through verification and revocation, in realistic agent scenarios - Engineer developer tooling that speeds adoption: IDE plugins, AI skills, CLI utilities, and agent-native extensions - Build local DNS mocking utilities and test infrastructure so developers can validate DNSid-enabled agents in CI without live DNS records or resolver dependencies. - Write integration tests, conformance suites, and CI pipelines that validate SDK behavior against the IETF draft specification, and publish to npm and PyPI and release Go modules through the Go module proxy, with semantic versioning, changelogs, and deprecation policies - Help shape the technical standards behind DNSid, turning insights gained from building the SDKs into clear written specifications - Triage community issues and pull requests on GitHub, holding a high bar for API stability and backward compatibility, and evaluate new frameworks and edge runtimes for integration priority based on adoption signals - Actively models and promotes Identity Digital's core values through day-to-day interactions, behaviors, and decision-making - Other duties as assigned Who You Are / What You Bring - 5+ years of professional, commercial software engineering, with a track record of shipping and maintaining production libraries or SDKs - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience - Fluency in TypeScript and Python, and working proficiency in Go sufficient to own a production Go module - Solid understanding of DNS internals: zone files, TXT record syntax, TTL semantics, DNSSEC basics, and resolver behavior - Hands-on experience with HTTP/1.1 and HTTP/2 mechanics, including TLS and request authentication (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, mTLS) - Direct experience building with at least two AI agent frameworks (those listed above, or comparable) - Familiarity with MCP or A2A, or a demonstrated ability to implement against an evolving IETF-style draft - Experience writing middleware or plugins for a major edge runtime - Strong API design instincts: naming, error handling, extensibility, and the gap between what an API allows and what it makes easy - Experience publishing open-source packages with automated CI/CD, semantic versioning, and public changelogs - Comfortable reading IETF RFCs and translating them into working code - Familiarity with the cryptographic primitives used in identity protocols: key pairs, JWTs, JWK Sets, ES256 and Ed25519 signatures, and certificate chains - Ability to travel as needed - Ability to work across time zones as part of a global organization as needed Preferred Qualifications - Prior experience contributing to or implementing against an IETF draft standard or W3C specification - Experience with SPIFFE/SPIRE, WebID, or other machine-identity or decentralized-identity systems - Familiarity with DNS operator APIs for programmatic record management, including Identity Digital's - Active contributions to open-source AI agent framework repositories or edge-runtime ecosystems - Experience with WebAssembly (WASM) as a cross-runtime deployment target for SDK components Location: Remote This position is open to candidates residing in the following states only: AZ, CA, CO, DE, MD, MA, MO, NJ, NV, NY, NC, OR, OK, PA, SC, TX, UT, VA, and WA. Summary / Objective IDIL is building DNS-native identity infrastructure for AI agents and other non-human identities: a durable, governance-backed domain name that serves as an agent's foundational identity. This role owns the developer-facing documentation for DNSid, top to bottom: the API reference, conceptual guides, integration tutorials, the developer portal, and the written specifications behind the standard. The Sr. Technical Writer translates a sophisticated protocol into documentation an engineer can act on immediately, and works closely enough with the engineering team to document features before they ship. This role also ensures that documentation is structured and published to be as useful to an AI tool retrieving context as it is to a person reading it. The Sr. Technical Writer will partner closely with the SDK and Integrations Engineers and the Developer Advocate on the DNSid rollout. This role reports to the Director, Software Engineering. What You'll Do - Write and maintain the complete API reference for the TypeScript, Python, and Go SDKs: method signatures, parameters, error codes, and annotated code examples - Author conceptual guides that explain the DNSid trust model, the agent lifecycle, the DNS record schema, and the verification flow for developers from AI, platform-engineering, and identity backgrounds - Produce integration tutorials for each major framework, such as LangChain, CrewAI, the Microsoft Agent Framework, LlamaIndex, and the OpenAI Agents SDK, plus MCP servers, A2A, and edge runtimes, with working code samples validated against the current SDK - Own the DNSid developer portal end to end: information architecture, navigation, search, and the new-developer journey from first landing to a first successful agent registration - Structure and publish documentation to be AI-consumable: well-formed llms.txt, machine-readable API references, and content that surfaces accurately through AI coding assistants like Codex, Claude, and Cursor, since many developers meet DNSid through these tools before they ever open the portal - Help write the technical standards behind DNSid, working from the IETF draft and engineering notes - Maintain the changelog and release notes for each SDK release, turning engineering diffs into clear, developer-facing impact statements - Document features before they ship by joining design reviews, reading PRs, and asking the questions that surface gaps early - Work with Developer Advocates so tutorials and guides reflect what developers actually find confusing, based on community feedback and support volume - Set the documentation style guidelines, templates, and review process, and keep them working as the integration surface grows - Keep every documentation code example validated in CI against the current TypeScript, Python, and Go SDKs, partnering with engineering on the setup, so examples never silently go stale as the APIs change - Version documentation clearly across spec drafts and SDK releases, and audit it on a regular cadence for accuracy against the current standard and SDKs - Actively models and promotes Identity Digital's core values through day-to-day interactions, behaviors, and decision-making - Other duties as assigned Who You Are / What You Bring - 5+ years of technical writing at a developer platform, API-first company, or standards-focused organization - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience - Able to read IETF RFCs and translate the specification into accurate, developer-friendly prose without needing an engineer to explain what the spec says - Experience writing API reference documentation for at least two programming languages; familiarity with TypeScript, Python, or Go is a strong advantage - A portfolio with at least one large-scale developer-documentation project: an SDK, a platform API, a protocol implementation guide, or equivalent - Able to write working, executable code samples in at least one of TypeScript, Python, or Go - Understanding of DNS fundamentals (TXT records, domain names, zone files, TTLs) and HTTP identity protocols (OAuth 2.0, OIDC) deep enough to write accurately about DNSid's anchoring model without engineering review for every sentence - Experience owning a developer portal or documentation site, including its information-architecture and toolchain choices (Docusaurus, Mintlify, Read the Docs, or comparable) - Strong instincts for information hierarchy: the writer knows when something belongs in a reference page versus a conceptual guide versus a tutorial, and structures content so developers find the right answer at the right moment - Experience with docs-as-code workflows: Git, pull-request review for documentation, CI checks on code samples, and versioned docs tied to SDK releases - Familiarity with AI-consumable documentation patterns: llms.txt, structured API references, and formats that surface accurately through AI coding assistants and retrieval-based tools - Experience writing changelogs and release notes that communicate developer impact rather than a list of commits - Ability to travel as needed - Ability to work across time zones as part of a global organization as needed Preferred Qualifications - Prior experience documenting an IETF draft standard, W3C specification, or comparable protocol before it became a final standard - Familiarity with the AI agent framework ecosystem (LangChain, CrewAI, the Microsoft Agent Framework, or comparable) deep enough to judge whether integration tutorials reflect real developer workflows - Experience with identity and authentication documentation: OAuth 2.0 flows, OIDC discovery, SPIFFE/SPIRE, or verifiable credentials - A background contributing to formal standards documents or public registries (for example IETF informational documents or IANA registry submissions) - Experience building or significantly shaping a documentation style guide adopted across a multi-team engineering organization Location: Remote This position is open to candidates residing in the following states only: AZ, CA, CO, DE, MD, MA, MO, NJ, NV, NY, NC, OR, OK, PA, SC, TX, UT, VA, and WA. Summary / Objective IDIL is building DNS-native identity infrastructure for AI agents and other non-human identities: a durable, governance-backed domain name that serves as an agent's foundational identity. This is a founding role on the DNSid rollout team. The Developer Advocate builds the developer community, the advocacy content, and the integration ecosystem largely from scratch, at a stage where the specification is still evolving and the developer audience is still forming. The Developer Advocate serves as the public face of DNSid to developers, demonstrating its purpose, importance, and usage through talks, tutorials, demos, and direct engagement wherever developers build. This role writes and ships code, contributes to the open-source SDKs and reference implementations, and feeds insights gained from the community back into the product roadmap. The Developer Advocate will partner closely with the SDK and Integrations Engineers and Technical Writers. The Developer Advocate reports to the Director, Software Engineering. What You'll Do - Create educational video content: screencasts, short-form walkthroughs, and voiceover explainers that take a developer from first install through a working agent deployment and the operational patterns that follow - Write technical blog posts, integration tutorials, and conceptual explainers that make the DNSid trust model and lifecycle accessible to developers whatever their background - Speak at conferences and developer events across the AI, platform-engineering, and identity ecosystems - Engage where AI-agent developers work: GitHub issues, discussions, and PRs, plus Discord and the relevant social channels, as a consistent and technically credible presence - Ship developer tooling (skills, plugins, AI-native extensions) that makes DNSid easier to adopt inside the workflows developers already use - Run hackathons, workshops, and office hours that give developers hands-on experience with the DNSid SDKs and integrations - Synthesize developer feedback from support threads, GitHub, and conversations into structured input that shapes the SDK roadmap and documentation priorities - Track the agent-framework ecosystem and recommend where advocacy should focus next as new frameworks and standards emerge - Help build and maintain a portfolio of end-to-end DNSid demos integrated with the agent frameworks developers actually use, such as LangChain, CrewAI, the Microsoft Agent Framework, LlamaIndex, the OpenAI Agents SDK, MCP servers, and A2A implementations - Contribute code upstream: to the open-source DNSid SDKs and reference implementations, and to the third-party agent frameworks and tools in the ecosystem, landing native DNSid support and advocating for its adoption where developers already build - Actively models and promotes Identity Digital's core values through day-to-day interactions, behaviors, and decision-making - Other duties as assigned Who You Are / What You Bring - 5+ years in developer advocacy, developer relations, or a software-engineering role with significant external-facing technical communication - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience - Able to write production-quality code in at least two of TypeScript, Python, or Go, with the ability to build demos independently and debug them during live presentations. - Direct experience working with AI agent frameworks, including a deep understanding of agent loop structures and failure points gained from hands-on work in frameworks like LangChain, CrewAI, or the Microsoft Agent Framework. - A demonstrated track record of technical public speaking (conference talks, workshop facilitation, or webinars) with full ownership of both technical content and delivery. - Strong technical writing skills, with a portfolio of blog posts, tutorials, or documentation that explains complex protocols or APIs to a developer audience - An active, visible presence in at least one developer community (AI/ML, platform engineering, identity, or open source) - Experience with MCP, A2A, or comparable multi-agent systems, or a demonstrated ability to get up to speed on an evolving specification quickly - Comfortable on camera and doing voiceover, with the screen presence to make educational video that developers actually watch through - Comfortable in front of mixed audiences, from practitioners who want working code to architects evaluating the standard - Ability to travel as needed - Ability to work across time zones as part of a global organization as needed Preferred Qualifications - A strong eye for video production: lighting, composition, and storytelling that lifts educational content above a basic screencast - Familiarity with DNS fundamentals (TXT records, FQDNs, TTLs, zone delegation) sufficient to explain DNSid's anchoring model clearly and field developer questions accurately - Understanding of identity and authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, mTLS, SPIFFE) sufficient to explain where DNSid fits in the stack. - Prior experience at a developer platform, identity provider, or infrastructure company where developers were the primary customer - A track record of growing a developer community around a new open standard or emerging protocol - Familiarity with the IETF standards process, DNS operator ecosystems, or the W3C DID and Verifiable Credentials landscape - An existing network in the developer community, especially AI-agent Location: Remote This position is open to candidates residing in the following states only: AZ, CA, CO, DE, MD, MA, MO, NJ, NV, NY, NC, OR, OK, PA, SC, TX, UT, VA, and WA. Employment Structure / Compensation: This role is initially structured as an Independent Contractor engagement, with the potential to transition to a full-time leadership role based on business needs, mutual fit, and achievement of milestones. Compensation will include a combination of monthly consulting fees and performance-based incentives tied to sales outcomes. Final compensation structure will depend on experience and scope, and engagement model. Summary / Objective AI agents are already acting on their own. They make decisions, access systems, and move money. Today there is no universal way to identify who is responsible for them. DNSid is the persistent identifier that fills that gap: a verifiable ownership record for every AI agent, anchored in the DNS infrastructure that the internet already runs on. We are creating a category and the window to define it is open right now. We are looking for a VP, Go-to-Market to own DNSid's commercial momentum. You will personally close our first design partners and earliest enterprise logos, define how DNSid is positioned and sold across financial services & the channel, and build a commercial engine that scales. You will not inherit a playbook. You will write the one this division runs. This role reports to the General Manager, Innovation Labs. What You'll Do - Sell. Personally run deals end to end with regulated enterprises (financial services first) & platform partners (IAM, cloud, network infrastructure). Lock our first design partners inside the first quarter - Design the motion. Define ICP, segmentation, pricing posture, positioning, messaging, and channel architecture across direct and channel motions, building on 200+ diligence discussions already in market - Stand up the basics. Put in place lightweight tooling and pick the early signals worth watching. Build only what we need to run the next set of deals well - Run the customer feedback loop. Translate field signal into Product, Engineering, and Comms decisions so the roadmap and external narrative reflect what buyers will pay for - Deploy the network. Activate Identity Digital, Advisory Council and Ethos Capital relationships with discipline and judgment; these are run with intention, not volume - Advise on team structure and support hiring decisions as the GTM team function scales; contribute to onboarding and field enablement as a subject matter resource - Other duties as assigned and in alignment with contractor agreement Who You Are / What You Bring - 10+ years in B2B enterprise software, with a track record of closing seven-figure deals into financial services, security, or infrastructure buyers - First or very early commercial hire experience: you have built a sales motion in a new category, not just executed inside one that was already defined - Builds urgency where it does not naturally exist. You move overwhelmed executives from "I'll get to it" to "we need to act," even when there is no budget line yet for what you are selling - Plays a wide game. Between zero and a flagship enterprise deal, success runs through public references, evangelism, design partner commitments, analyst pickup, and standards traction. You read these as commercial progress, not consolation prizes, and prioritize the ones that compound - Credible at both altitudes: fluent in the weeds (outbound, discovery, pilot structure) and at strategy (market sizing, pricing, channel design) - Disciplined simplifier with technical conviction. Most buyers don't yet understand DNS, let alone the greenfield around agentic AI. You make hard substance (ownership, verification, revocation, provenance, composability with existing identity stacks) land clearly in rooms with CISOs, CTOs, Chief AI Officers, and platform leaders, without thinning it out - Founder mindset: you think in systems, create clarity rather than wait for it, and stay resilient through long, complex, multi-stakeholder cycles - Data-driven and experiment-oriented; you test channels, measure results, and codify what works into repeatable systems - Ability to travel as needed - Ability to work across time zones as part of a global organization Location: Remote
