• Oversee key general accounting functions, including accounts receivable, sales invoicing, revenue recognition, royalties, and cost of sales. • Lead the transactional month-end close process, including reviewing and approving journal entries. • Review balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness. • Take ownership of revenue accounting and sales invoicing, ensuring revenues and cost of sales are recorded accurately and in accordance with accounting standards. • Review month-end financial results, identify discrepancies, and recommend or implement necessary corrections. • Prepare and review variance analyses for profit and loss accounts, providing meaningful insights into financial performance. • Ensure accounting processes and procedures are consistently followed and remain compliant with company policies and accounting standards. • Support quarterly reviews, year-end financial audits, and annual internal control audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor requests. • Partner closely with the Client Success, Sales, and Development teams to support business operations and provide financial guidance. • Evaluate existing accounting processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls. • Collaborate with shared services teams and cross-functional stakeholders to improve reporting and streamline financial operations. • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
