Senior Electrical Engineer

Role Description Our Energy and Resources Division works with major energy developers to deliver large scale Wind, Solar, BESS and gas projects across the country. These include greenfield projects for new energy developments and brownfield projects to expand or upgrade existing facilities. There is an opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects. In the renewable energy sector, typical projects include: - Electrical Balance of Plant (EBOP) for large wind farms - Solar farms - BESS projects In the gas sector, typical projects include: - 33kV – 11kV distribution network design - Well site facilities - Pipelines - Gas compression facilities - Water treatment and transfer facilities We are recruiting for a Senior Electrical Engineer to be based in our Philippines team and work remotely to support our team and clients in Australia. The successful candidate will initially be hired by our partner agency in the Philippines as Fyfe builds our presence in the Philippines. These include greenfield developments for new energy infrastructure and brownfield projects involving the expansion, upgrade and augmentation of existing facilities. There is an opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects and technical disciplines. Role Description The role will be based in the Philippines, working for an Australian company. The successful candidate will be hired by our partner agency in the Philippines. - Produce civil engineering design and documentation for energy and civil infrastructure projects using 12D and AutoCAD. - Work with Project Managers to balance design work requirements with project budgets and schedules as established with clients. - Participate in the delivery of projects and ensure output is of a high standard and within time and cost budget allocations. - Ensure all design drawings for engineering project work comply with statutory and regulatory requirements. - Preparation of civil design plans, specifications and estimates for a range of civil design projects. Qualifications - Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil discipline. - Demonstrated experience within a consulting environment. - Demonstrated high level competency with engineering design software, including AutoCAD and 12D. - Experience with designing access tracks and cut/fill pads; wind farm design experience is advantageous. - Knowledge of local and statutory requirements, legislation and Australian Standards (preferable). - Working knowledge of specifications and software applied to civil construction infrastructure. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise multiple projects. - Proficient in the operation of MS Word and Excel. - Ability to show initiative and work to deadlines in a multiproject environment. - Ability to work independently and engage and collaborate with stakeholders.
