Role Description The core of this role focuses on the Carrier Portal, a project built about six months ago featuring a fresh tech stack and a clean, independent frontend/backend architecture. It’s the perfect move if you want to switch from a software house to a product team. The project is only six months old, so instead of fighting years of legacy code, you get a clean slate, a small team, and a real say in how things are built. In this position, you will shape how insurance carrier data is structured, processed, and ultimately delivered to end-users to provide actionable insights on agency performance, sales, inquiries, and geographic activity. You will participate in a dynamic discovery flow—implementing POC (Proof of Concept) projects to validate the direction in which our product should further develop. Our team operates in a highly dynamic, startup-like environment where priorities shift quickly based on customer needs. If you are a Senior Engineer who thrives on autonomy, high ownership, and driving product impact, you’ve come to the right place! 🚀 What You’ll Do - Evolve Frontend Architecture: Manage, scale, and mature a fresh tech stack with a clean, independent frontend/backend structure. - Drive Product Ownership: Take full end-to-end ownership of POC projects. - Build Shared Component Library: Build and maintain a shared component library used across multiple projects, ensuring meticulous attention to detail so updates do not break functionality for other teams. - Deliver Actionable Insights: Shape how insurance carrier data is structured, processed, and presented to deliver clear insights on agency performance, sales, and geographic activity. - Balance Speed and Quality: Execute within fast-paced, two-week end-to-end discovery cycles, standard delivery pipelines, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs). - Foster High Autonomy: Work independently without the need for hand-holding, taking full responsibility for your code and architectural decisions. Qualifications - Minimum of 6 years of experience in frontend development. - At least 4 years of hands-on experience working with React. - Strong product mindset with a deep sense of ownership and autonomy. - Proficiency in modern JavaScript and TypeScript. - Familiarity with foundational tools, including Git, Docker, frontend tooling, and build bundlers. - Strong architectural focus, with the ability to actively engage in discussions and decisions. - Continuous learning mindset, showing readiness to expand your skillset as required by the product. - Experience or willingness to work with Node.js and server-side development (to support the process). - Ability to leverage AI-assisted development tools to boost productivity and streamline coding workflows. - You are based in Poland and have a good command of both Polish and English (written and spoken). Extra Points For - Track record of leading projects end-to-end as an owner. Recruitment Process - Send us your CV – it's the best way for us to get to know you. - Meet Karolina, our Recruiter for initial interview. - Join a technical interview with our Team Members. - Meet our team for a live coding interview. - Talk with Hiring Manager. - Join Wojtek and Ola for final stage call... - ... and welcome aboard! 👋 Benefits - Salary: 27 000 - 31 000 PLN VAT on B2B - Remote work & flexible working hours - Paid sick leave - Paid holidays - Private medical care with dentists & orthodontists package for you and your family - Group life insurance - Psychotherapists support — free online sessions with psychologists and psychotherapists. - Home physiotherapy - Multisport card & meditation apps reimbursed 50% - Gear with Apple Logo and a nice Dell monitor - 50% reimbursement for courses, conferences, books & certificates - Free access to private language lessons - 6 Personal Development Days & 4 Voluntary Days Off - Cafeteria platform — extra “stówka” every month to spend on whatever you want to - Nanny services for parents - Concierge services – a personal assistant to help you to deal with your everyday matters - Team building events — we party together several times a year during the annual Offsite & Christmas Parties, or our #WinterEscape workation week in Mediterranean
